Story
Adopt me during Greenhill Humane Society’s ASPCA Rescue Effect weekend, September 13-14, and my adoption fee is waived! I’m ready to fill your life with love - plus, adopting me helps free up space and resources to help other animals in need. Hi, I`m Rosie! I`m about 4 years old and weigh 9 pounds. I have a medical waiver that staff will discuss with you further!** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I originally entered the shelter with a canine pal. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet to see how we hit it off!Cats? Unknown. Slow, supervised introductions would help set us up for success.Kids? I would like to start out meeting kiddos who can be gentle with me.Anything else you`d like us to know, Rosie? I`m a sweet little lady looking for a furrever lap to land in! I love snuggling in laps!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 9/26/25 to NorCal, OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Jasper to our trip for the right home! Meet Jasper! 🐾 He is a purebred miniature poodle, just 4 months old, and estimated to be between 15–18 lbs full grown. With his soft, curly, hypoallergenic coat, Jasper is every bit as beautiful on the outside as he is on the inside. He’s a bright, affectionate puppy who’s eager to love and be loved. Jasper is fully current on his puppy vaccines. He has received 4 sets of DA2PP, his 1-year Bordetella vaccine, and his 1-year rabies vaccine. A fecal test was sent off to the lab, and he has been dewormed based on those results. Our vet has thoroughly examined him, cleared him for adoption, and will send him home with a health certificate 💙 Jasper is too young to be neutered, so he will go home on a neuter contract to be completed once he is fully mature and his growth plates have closed. Jasper is thriving with house training thanks to his steady schedule. He has picked it up quickly and will continue to succeed as long as that consistency is kept in his new home. He is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, where he feels safe and secure. Like Bear, Jasper has excellent recall for his age — he already comes when called and is picking up sit, stay, and come with enthusiasm. He listens well and isn’t a barker, making him such an easy, pleasant pup to have in the home. Leash training will be brand new for him, but he’s eager to learn and thrives on encouragement. With patience, he’ll quickly adapt and enjoy walks at your side. Jasper is full of joy and sweetness. He’s great with other dogs and cats alike, adapting easily to any animal friend his new family might have. He loves people and is wonderful with men, women, and children, making him a perfect candidate for a family dog. At the same time, he’d also be an incredible best friend for a single adopter looking for one loyal companion to share life with. Jasper’s personality is a balance of playful curiosity and affection. He isn’t a barker, but he’s attentive and responsive, happy to follow your lead. He loves his people deeply and wants nothing more than to be part of your world. He also loves his spa days — bath time, brushing, and even the blow dryer make him happy. Looking handsome and feeling good come naturally to him. And just like his brother, Jasper loves road trips and will be thrilled to ride along with his new family, enjoying every adventure wherever the road may lead. Please note: Jasper is being adopted out individually, not as a pair with his brother. Jasper’s adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of his adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/jasper-1 which covers: All vaccines (DA2PP, Bordetella, Rabies) Microchip & registration Fecal lab test & deworming based on results Full veterinary exam & health certificate Caring for a puppy requires extra attention and precautions. Jasper has received the highest level of care and protection, including being kept safe and separated until fully vaccinated. His adoption fee reflects this care and matches our spayed/neutered adult dogs. We also covered the cost of spaying and neutering both of Jasper’s parents, who remained with their owner. A portion of his adoption fee helps cover those costs — because without that, Jasper wouldn’t be here today, ready to find his forever home 💙

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 9/26/25 to NorCal, OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Autumn to our trip for the right home! Meet Autumn. She is a purebred miniature size poodle. She is hypoallergenic so you won't have to worry about shedding. She is 2 1/2 years of age. She is on the larger size of a miniature but at a great size if you ask me. She is 17 1/2 lbs. Yea, she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She is spayed, had a dental cleaning done, is current on vaccines, microchipped, has been thourely examined, and cleared by our vet to find a home all her own ❤️ Autumn is the more confident of the two sisters. She has a natural leader’s spirit and is very smart, observant, and attentive. She likes knowing her environment and the people in it so that she can fully trust her situation. Once she feels secure, she blossoms into her sweet, calm, and affectionate self. Autumn is crate trained and currently sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate. She adapts well to different sleeping arrangements, whether that be in her crate, at your bedside, or snuggled close. Having that consistency gives her comfort and helps her know what to expect. She is also house trained and follows a scheduled routine every 4 hours, which she thrives on. For her success, we recommend that her new family continue with a similar structured schedule so she can transition smoothly into her new home and feel confident in what’s expected of her. When it comes to the leash, Autumn is still building her confidence. She is curious and willing but, like many dogs who are new to structured walks, she benefits from patience and reassurance. Short, calm walks where she can take her time to sniff and explore will help her gain trust in the process. Positive reinforcement such as offering praise and a treat when she walks nicely will help her grow more comfortable over time. Autumn also travels beautifully in the car. She loves hanging out around town with us and would make a fantastic road trip companion for longer journeys, whether that’s a vacation or an afternoon outing. At the groomer’s, she is perfect. She adores being pampered, doted on, and enjoys a good spa day every time. Autumn is wonderful with other dogs and cats, but she would be equally content being the “princess” of her home, soaking up all the love and attention as the center of her person’s world. She is also great with men, women, and children. While she isn’t high energy, her playful heart makes her a joy with grandkids, neighbors, or visiting dogs for playdates. She is easygoing, kind-hearted, serene tempered, and very easy to love. Autumn and her sister Daisy came to us after their owner’s husband passed away. With no family or friends able to step in to help, their caregiver’s vet reached out to us here at Bread of Life K9 Refuge so we could ensure these two girls found safe, loving homes. ❤️ Autumn shines on her own and does not need to be adopted with Daisy. They love each other, but they are also independent and will do wonderfully in their own homes. That said, for the right family seeking a bonded pair, Autumn and Daisy would also make a beautiful duo as their personalities complement one another. Adoption Fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/autumn-1 Her fee covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental cleaning, and her full vet exam, along with the months of care, grooming, and training we have personally provided while she has been with us. Autumn is loyal, confident, affectionate, and serene—ready to be a devoted best friend and cherished companion to the family lucky enough to call her their own. 🍁❤️
