Story
**Please note this pet is currently an out of town pet but we will transport this pet to you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Nyla! Nyla is a 4-year-old sweetheart weighing about 32 pounds, and she is guaranteed to bring smiles wherever she goes. This happy, goofy girl has a fun-loving personality and a heart full of love for her people. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will keep you laughing and shower you with affection, Nyla may be your perfect match! Nyla absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. She is always excited to spend time with her family, whether that's going for a walk, hanging out in the yard, or simply relaxing together. One of her favorite activities is getting the zoomies outside, watching her race around the yard with a big smile on her face is sure to brighten your day. Her joyful personality and goofy antics make her a favorite among everyone who meets her. Nyla walks nicely on a leash and is both crate trained and house trained, making her an easy companion to welcome into your home. Nyla was surrendered to a shelter after concerns about aggression toward people. However, since coming into our rescue's care, we have not experienced any issues with aggression. She has been affectionate, friendly, and eager for attention from the people she meets. As with any adopted dog, we recommend allowing her time to adjust to a new environment and family while continuing to provide structure, patience, and positive reinforcement. Nyla would do best as the only dog in the home or with dogs her size or larger, as she does not do well with small dogs. She also needs a cat-free home. This smiley girl is ready for a fresh start with a family that will appreciate her loving nature and fun personality. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a goofy side and lots of love to give, Nyla may be the perfect addition to your family. Interested in becoming a forever home for Nyla? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

He loves to explore, interact with people, and turn everyday moments into fun little adventures. His silly nature makes him an entertaining companion who brings laughter and light energy wherever he goes. At this early stage of life, Cruz is still learning about the world around him. He is in a key developmental period where structure, positive experiences, and consistent guidance will shape the adult dog he becomes. He is curious, social, and eager to engage with his environment. As a Poodle / Terrier mix, Cruz is expected to grow into a smart, active, and affectionate companion. This mix often produces dogs that are intelligent, playful, and highly trainable, with a strong desire to bond closely with their families. Cruz would thrive in a home prepared for: Ongoing puppy training and supervision Daily playtime, exercise, and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his emotional and physical well-being He is still in the earliest stage of life and will need a family committed to guiding him through all phases of puppy development. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, accidents, teething, learning routines, and testing boundaries. These are all part of healthy development. Cruz will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience, consistency, and supervision Gentle guidance during development Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn routine 3 months to feel fully at home With stability, patience, and love, Cruz will grow into a confident and affectionate companion.
