You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. “Meet our very own Oliver Twist” Hi, my name is Oliver and much like that appealing orphan that Charles Dicken’s wrote about, I too am seeking the security of a family for my very own. I am approximately 6 years old and have recently been staying in a very busy house with 5 other furry friends. I get along great with everyone and don’t mind sharing my food, bones, or toys, and will even let you nap with me. I sleep like a log at night in my crate on this amazing donut bed and am just starting to enjoy “exploring” my surroundings. I occasionally get the zoomies when doing this whole “potty outside” thing, so you may want to keep the leash on me as I’m still working on “come” but I know that if I show you my belly, I’ll get scratches and man do I love those! I’m not an expert on leash yet and may not recognize all the commands you are saying to me but I’m a smart boy who’s willing to learn if you can be patient with me. My favorite treats are freeze-dried beef or salmon bites, and I just learned what a ball is…who knew? I like to nibble on those healthy Nyla bones or other KONG toys (dumbbells, bones, balls) I’m not fussy and enjoy a good nap on anything softy and cozy. Please give me a chance and consider making yours my furever home! ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep him safe - no invisible fences. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
