Story
Rosie is a Blue-seal point Himalayan. She is 9 years old born on 4th of July. We purchased her from someone in New Jersey. She has Blue eyes and weighs 9lbs. She is lovable and snuggly. She likes to be pet and loved. She can be scared easily. She battles with a type of seasonal allergy that requires a medication. She eats Royal-Canin hydrolyzed protein dry food, really likes Sheba selections filets in broth and of course treats. She is house trained. She likes to play with toys. She is a medium to long haired cat and we do get her professionally groomed but not required. She is easy to groom her nails yourself. She is an indoor cat but likes to chill on our porch to feel the breeze through her fur and smell the air. She would be a perfect addition to your family.

Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: www.frecklesfoundation.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Jewel! This gorgeous 3-year-old Himalayan beauty is named for her stunning, sparkling eyes that are sure to steal your heart. Jewel may initially come across as a bit of a grumpy old lady, but beneath that serious expression is a cat who absolutely loves attention, pets, and being close to her people. Jewel adores being brushed, enjoys soaking up affection, and would happily spend her evenings curled up beside you. In fact, one of her favorite things is sleeping with her foster and keeping her favorite human company. While she tolerates other cats, Jewel can be easily intimidated by more outgoing felines and prefers companions who respect her space. She would thrive as an only cat or in a home with calm, respectful cats who won’t invade her personal bubble. Jewel does have food allergies, and her foster has worked diligently to find a diet that keeps her comfortable. After much trial and error, we’ve discovered that she does wonderfully on a homemade bison-based diet. When fed other foods, she becomes very itchy and can scratch herself raw, so her future family will need to be committed to maintaining a strict diet. We are now working on incorporating other proteins and commercially available foods into her diet to make things easier on her future family. Jewel is spayed, vaccinated, negative for FelV/FIV, and microchipped. She’s ready to find a home where she can be cherished, pampered, brushed regularly, and loved for the beautiful, affectionate girl she truly is. The adoption fee for this cat is $500. Application for adoption: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Cat If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this kitten, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.

Story
Meet our beautiful senior Himalayan, a sweet 13-year-old female looking for a quiet, loving forever home. She was originally adopted as a kitten from a reputable breeder by a family member. When that family member moved away, she was lovingly entrusted to my mother, who has cared for and cherished her ever since. She has spent nearly her entire life in one stable, loving home. She is a small, indoor cat with a calm, gentle, and independent personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she enjoys relaxing in her favorite spots and quietly keeping you company. She is litter box trained and has no known diagnosed medical conditions. Like many senior cats, she has some age-related stiffness, but she continues to enjoy a peaceful indoor lifestyle. We are looking for a patient adopter who understands that senior cats may take a little time to adjust to a new environment. She would thrive in a quiet home with someone who appreciates peace.
