DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting. ***** Peter is 16yo, weighs 10lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, is not microchipped, and his FeLV/FIV status is unknown, so he'll have to be tested. Peter's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "Can't afford medication expenses and already have 2 cats." SCRATCH HISTORY: Peter once scratched his guardian when he was picked up unexpectedly; the scratch broke the skin, animal control was not involved, and medical treatment wasn't necessary. Peter's guardian offers a brief medical history: "Has a heart murmur that requires two pills daily. Also has poor eyesight." Peter's guardian states the following regarding children: Peter has lived with children, ages 7 and 18, but his guardian doesn't recommend his living with children, because he hides.
