Story
🌸 Meet LaylaLayla is a 14‑year‑old long‑haired beauty who turns heads the moment she walks into a room. Her exact coat color is a bit of a mystery — she’s one of those cats whose fur seems to shift shades depending on the light — but what we do know is that she is undeniably gorgeous.More importantly, Layla is as sweet and gentle as they come. She loves calm company, soft voices, and the kind of quiet affection that makes her feel safe and adored.Because of her luxurious coat, Layla will need a home that can help her stay comfortable and mat‑free. She does get tangles easily, so regular brushing is a must — and she’ll happily soak up the extra attention.Layla is also in the early stages of kidney disease. She’s doing well and simply needs to stay on a special prescription diet (K/D) to support her health. She takes it all in stride and remains her soft, loving self.Layla is ready for a cozy, caring home where she can spend her golden years being cherished for the lovely, gentle soul she is.Layla's adoption fee is $0, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
