Story
Princess has a name that suits her purrfectly. She is pretty and knows it. She is very friendly and sweet. She loves affection and loves her food! She plays a little but is really very much a pillow princess who prefers to lounge and be pampered. She is a purebred Persian who was surrendered by her owner. She adjusted quickly to her foster home. She has not wanted to be around other kitties. She would be most happy in a quiet home as the one and only true princess. She might do OK with older children who can respect her need for calm, but younger children would be too much for her. Persians require daily grooming and due to their "smushed" face, are not able to groom themselves as easy as other cats. She needs a home with someone committed to her grooming needs. Her previous owner shaved her. Her hair has grown back and she is beautiful. She is OK with being brushed, but gently. She has an eye ulcer. The vet says this can happen with Persians as their eyes can dry out more. Eye drops are recommended to keep her eyes from drying. She is easy about these drops and pretty chill all around. Adoption fee is $330 as she is a purebred.

Story
Luna was born in late 2017. I welcomed her into my home in August 2020, having rescued her from a family friend who specialized in breeding Persians and exotic shorthairs. Luna had one litter of kittens before she was spayed. She's affectionate, with occasional playful bursts, though she generally prefers not to be held or sit on laps. However, she enjoys resting beside you and on your pillow near your head. She tolerates the presence of at least one other cat, but she can be territorial. If you're grooming her or giving her attention and another cat approaches, she may swat at them and hiss. She exhibits some fear of other cats, often running away if they come near. Despite this, she interacts wonderfully with people. While she was content with me having just one other cat, her behavior has changed since I moved in with my mother, who has her own cats and also fosters. Luna has been experiencing behavioral challenges. Therefore, I hope to find a home that would better fit her needs.
