Story
Meet Salem! This sweet baby is one of our 9 "Wednesday litter" we have in our rescue. We pulled Mama and babies (Mama's picture is also included in the photoset) from euthanasia in Texas. She and her babies are currently settled in a foster home. They are ready to find their forever families now! Salem is a gentle boy that is the more shy of his litter. Despite being a little shy, he is very well socialized and loves to cuddle. He also knows basic training like "sit, down, touch". He's very smart and will make a wonderful addition to a family. He was born at the beginning of October, so he's just over 3 months old. Spay/neuter, microchip, and current vaccines all included in their adoption fee. Story
Meet Gnocchi! This adorable Husky pup is the most playful, kind, and loving girl at the rescue! Gnocchi is full of personality — goofy, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves every dog she meets and is all about playtime and cuddles. Gnocchi is food-motivated (treats are her #1 love language ), walks nicely on a leash, and is crate trained. She’s the last of our Pasta Litter, and she’s hoping her turn has finally come! Like a true Husky, she can be a little vocal when excited, but unlike her siblings, she doesn’t howl. She’s great with both small and large dogs and adores people. She’s fully vetted, young, and ready for her forever home. While she hasn’t met cats yet, her age and temperament make her a great candidate to adjust well. Gnocchi is looking for an active and loving adopter who’s ready for adventures, snuggles, and plenty of laughs. Not in Texas? No problem! We offer transport to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##2403935##

Story
Meet Kona (aka “Kona Shark”) 🐾 Age: 4 years | Breed: Husky | Weight: 60 lbs Kona is a sweet, affectionate, and hilariously charming husky who’s ready to find his forever adventure buddy! He’s a total character — equal parts goofball and cuddle bug. When he sees you grab the leash, get ready for pure excitement — “walkies” are his absolute favorite, and he’ll light up with joy knowing an adventure is ahead. He’s a social boy who loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs, so outings like Idaho Pups & Ales or any local dog-friendly event are right up his alley! Kona would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys outdoor fun. Kona also has a softer side — he gives the best husky hugs and kisses on command and will even dance with you on his hind legs when he’s feeling extra affectionate. At home, he’s a bit of an oddball in the most endearing way — he’ll sit and watch TV like a person, and if you let him, he’ll perch at the edge of your bed for a late-night movie session. True to husky form, Kona values his independence (and his beauty sleep 😴). He doesn’t love being pulled or grabbed, so he’ll do best in a home with older kids or adults who understand dog body language. Kona’s Skills & Habits: ✅ Great recall (unless a squirrel is involved!) ✅ Potty trained ✅ Crate trained (just give him a minute — he’ll get there!) ✅ Walks well once the initial excitement passes ✅ Knows sit, shake, and “up” for hugs Kona’s Ideal Home: A fenced yard (6 ft, please — he’s got hops!) A patient, loving family who understands huskies Someone who won’t leave their snacks unattended — this foodie doesn’t discriminate! Kona is a loyal, fun-loving companion who will make you laugh every single day. If you’re looking for an adventure partner with a big heart and even bigger personality, Kona Shark is your guy. 🩵 Kona's Facebook profile can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/share/1FiaqbNAEz/ If you’re interested in adopting Kona please fill out the pre adoption application on the link below .
