Story
This is Jaxson, he’s pure bred Siberian Husky. He will be turning 5 years old on April 1st. He is the best dog I’ve ever had. I have had him since he was 9 weeks old. He’s great with kids and loves to run around and play with my 3 year old daughter. He’s never been around a lot of other dogs but he has gotten along with female dogs and older dogs really well. Cats are an absolute no for him, unfortunately. Super playful and very calm for a husky. Doesn’t bark, and only howls when it’s time to eat.

StellaSiberian Husky4 yrs oldI was brought to the shelter because my owner had a fire and could no longer care for me.Just like my sister, I was also heartworm positive. I just finished my treatment and am ready for my forever homeI love to play with other dogs, so a home with another playful dog would be ideal.Another dog will also help with the transition from the shelter to a home.I do know how to walk on a leash but don't like going very far from my place (the shelter) .Like most huskies, my prey drive is high so no cats or chickens.I have not been around kids in my previous home.A fenced in yard would be ideal.I am housebroken.I need a patient owner to help me build my confidence.

StormySiberian Husky8 yrs oldI was brought to the shelter due to a fire. I did not sustain any injuries.I came in with my friend Stella.I was heartworm positive and just finished my treatment. So I am ready to find my forever home. I am the more mellow of the two.I am not a big fan of kids,I have a high prey drive so no cats or chickens.I am house broken.I have figured out how to walk on the leash and am pretty good at it now.The tile floors here do make me nervous. They can be slippery and I'm afraid I may fall.Just the last week or so, I've gotten braver while walking on the floors.A fence would be ideal for me.I love attention from my people.I have a beautiful white coat that does need to be brushed to keep it looking best.

Story
Hi there! I'm Sony and I am 2.5 years old! I am your typical husky in terms of personality where I am very friendly, intelligent and playful! I have a good nature to me, and I would make the most loyal companion! I crave attention, and I would love to spend lots of time with my adopted family! I am dog friendly, and I enjoy hanging around kids! I don't quite know my size, so I might need some help with not jumping on little ones or trying to be a lap dog. I am very treat and food motivated though, so I would be quick to learn some manners or new commands! I came into the shelter as a stray, so I can't wait to find my furever family! Some quick facts about me: Dog FriendlyKid FriendlyEnergetic, intelligent guyWeight: 50 lbsIntake Date: 01/07/2024Reason: StrayGive the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me!
