Those forever puppy dog eyes of Thor’s are enough to stop you in your tracks—they’re a constant reminder of just how special dogs truly are. This handsome Husky/German Shepherd mix has a little extra thickness to him, but it only adds to his charm.Thor is a happy, goofy boy who loves to play, especially when there’s a ball involved. He’ll happily chase it around the yard and then come right back for some cuddles. He walks very well on a leash and enjoys staying close to his people, whether you’re out for a stroll or just relaxing together.He came to us as a stray alongside another dog, Loki, and it’s clear both boys were well cared for before arriving here. Thor has adjusted well and continues to show us just how sweet and easygoing he is.If you’re looking for a playful companion with a soft, loving side, Thor might just be your perfect match.Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes their spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. You can get a head start by filling out our adoption questionnaire at https://agcshelter.org/adopt-1, or you can stop in at 2205 E. Washington St. in Mt. Pleasant, IA Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm.
