Maverick is a male Husky mixed doggy who is about 3 years old.Unfortunately his owner couldn't care for him anymore so had to surrender him.He can be a bit of a nervous guy, so he may take some time to warm up and show you his true personality. But once he’s comfortable, he enjoys being petted, loved on, and spending time with his people.Maverick isn't necessarily the type to shower you with kisses or constantly seek out affection, but that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate it! He simply has his own way of showing you that he enjoys your company.This handsome boy needs a family who will let him go at his own pace, celebrate the little moments, and give him the confidence he needs to blossom. Sometimes the quieter connections are the most rewarding.I'm described as a 'Constant Companion'. Looking for an emotionally secure, mutually satisfying, low maintenance relationship? I am all you need. Let me sit at your feet, walk by your side, and I’ll be your devoted companion forever. Rosco is a male Husky mixed doggy who is about 2 years old and came to us from the pound.In the video he didn't want to pick the ball up because it was wet...lolChase the ball? Absolutely! Run after it? You bet! Pick it up when it’s WET?! Umm… excuse me, have you seen the condition of that thing?!Rosco had us laughing with his little refusal to pick up a soggy ball. Apparently, this boy believes fetch should come with a few quality-control standards!Life with Rosco is sure to come with plenty of laughs, silly moments, and entertainment. All he needs now is a family who appreciates his goofy ways and is ready to make him part of their everyday adventures.Come meet this silly boy and let’s get him into a home where he can be his wonderfully goofy self. Just be sure to have a nice, DRY ball waiting for him!Per his Dog Day Adventure person:Roscoe was an incredibly good boy! Loves to run, once I started jogging with him, walking him became much easier. He does well on a leash, he just loves to smell everything and say hi to everyone so he pulls frequently, and he is VERY strong.Did phenomenal on the car ride, no barking or whining. I cannot get over how sweet he was.I would adopt him if I didn't already have 5 dogs.He is described as a 'Goofball'. I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. IO is a 4 year old male Husky. IO is a handsome dude, loves to talk, go for walks and even getting brushed! Which he will need often to keep him handsome! Please know about Huskies before applying, he is all of those things... fun, playful, happy, talkative and may even play catch me if you can with you! You must not have cats! Our adoption hours are Tuesday-Friday 3-6PM and 1-5PM on the weekends. We are located in Burlington, Iowa. All dog adoptions include a health exam, Rabies, DHPP and Distemper vaccinations, Heartworm check, Sterilization and post surgical pain medication. All cat adoptions include A health check up, FLV and FiV screening, FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, sterilization with pain medications.
