Hi, I'm Max! I'm a 2-year-old, 65 lb. Husky mix with enough enthusiasm to make your fitness watch congratulate you every day. If your dream weekend includes hiking, camping, road trips, beach days, snow adventures, or simply pretending we're in an action movie while running through a field, I am fully committed to the role!
Don't let all that energy fool you though. I'm also a professional at soaking up affection. Ear scratches, belly rubs, leaning my entire body against you like I suddenly forgot how legs work. That's my love language!
I'm very dog friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs. Whether it's going for walks together, playing, or just hanging out, I'd love a canine companion, but I'd also be happy as your one-and-only adventure buddy.
Since I'm still a young guy, I'd love a family that wants to keep teaching me new things using positive reinforcement training. I think learning is fun, especially when snacks are involved.
I've met kids and have been a very sweet gentleman. I'd do best with kiddos over 6 years old who understand that even the coolest adventure buddies appreciate a little personal space sometimes.
Cats are still one of life's great mysteries to me. I've never officially interviewed one, but the nice humans here can set up a cat test if you have a feline supervisor at home.
Now for my one tiny, slightly impressive, superhero-quality disclaimer. I can jump. Like, really jump. If your fence is under 6 feet, I might accidentally audition for the neighborhood Olympics. I'll need a securely fenced yard with fencing over 6 feet tall to help keep my adventurous spirit safely at home.
