Stella is a beautiful young Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a heart as big as her ears. She was rescued from a backyard breeder who went out of business and left several corgis behind. Stella is one of the lucky ones — she had not been bred yet, and now she finally gets the chance to live the life every dog deserves.
Estimated to be around 10 months to 1 year old, Stella is still very much a puppy and is discovering the world for the first time. She’s learning what toys are, what bones are, and how fun it is to simply be a loved family dog — and she’s absolutely enjoying every minute of it.
Stella is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats and is doing wonderfully. She’s very sweet, gentle, and eager to please. With a little patience and continued guidance, she’s going to make an incredible companion.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
