Story
Are you the type of person always looking for an excuse to stay in and canceling plans because the couch is calling? … Well, Shiloh is too! 🐾As a true professional homebody, Shiloh has his life priorities all figured out: 80% lounging with his favorite people, 15% high-quality snacks, and 5% playtime. Honestly, he may have cracked the code, because we couldn’t agree more! This excellent boy is all about the calm, cozy life and has absolutely wonderful manners to match his laid back vibe. He’s an incredibly easy walking companion, strolling right alongside you at a steady pace and truly never needing any correction. His leash manners are truly something to brag about! Shiloh prefers shorter walks and a relaxed daily routine, and when playtime rolls around, he’s perfectly content to participate from a distance. He seems to do well with other dogs who understand and respect his laid-back style! He’d much rather supervise the action than be in the middle of it. Think of Shilo as the dad at the playground: he’s absolutely there for the family outing, but he’ll be sitting comfortably on the bench watching everyone else run around! Shiloh also appears to be housebroken! He keeps his kennel remarkably tidy and takes care of business as soon as he’s given the opportunity to head outside. When it comes to finding his happy place, Shiloh has excellent taste. He’ll seek out the shadiest, quietest, coziest spot available and settle in like he owns the place. But while he loves his peaceful little corner, he loves it even more when his people come join him for a lounge session! If your idea of the perfect dog is one who enjoys the simple things like quiet companionship, leisurely strolls, cozy naps, snacks, and being near his people, Shiloh may be your perfect match. He’s ready to trade his kennel for a soft spot on the sofa and a family who appreciates the art of slow living 🏡🐾- Katy, HSNBA volunteerHSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight.
