Meet Socks!
Socks is a 10-year-old Corgi/Heeler mix with a big personality packed into a perfectly portable 20-pound package. Equal parts adventure buddy and professional cuddler, he's the kind of dog who's happy to join you for an outing and then curl up beside you afterward for a nap.
Despite his age, Socks still loves getting out and about. Whether he's attending events, exploring new places, making friends, or splashing around near the water, he's always ready to be part of the action. He's social, affectionate, and absolutely loves being included in whatever his people are doing.
When the adventures are over, Socks is all about the finer things in life: cozy blankets, lap time, booty scratches, and soaking up attention from his favorite humans. He's the kind of companion who makes every day a little brighter just by being there.
Socks was born with a condition called microphthalmia, which means one of his eyes is smaller than the other. It doesn't slow him down one bit. He gets around just fine and doesn't let it stop him from enjoying life to the fullest.
Socks is also a member of our Lonely Hearts Club, a special program that waives the adoption fee for long-stay adoptable animals. His adoption fee has already been covered. All that's missing is the family willing to give this deserving senior the forever home he's been waiting for.
