Story
Tyrion is an 11-year-old Corgi/German Shepherd mix with a big heart and a low-to-the-ground Corgi charm. He’s been our beloved companion since he was a puppy, and it breaks our hearts to rehome him. He’s playful, cuddly, and full of personality — he loves water, tennis balls, and showing off his tricks (sit, spin, shake, high five). Tyrion thrives with adults and older kids (8 ), but he’s very fearful of toddlers, and we want him to spend his golden years feeling safe and at peace. He’s best as the only pet — he prefers human company and has never been into dog parks or dog friends. Though he’s a bit overweight from age and slowing down, he’s healthy and still enjoys active play — with rest breaks. He’s not a fan of vet visits or car rides, but at home he’s the sweetest, silliest buddy you could ask for. We’re looking for someone who will love him like we do.

UPDATE:  ISAAC has had the surgery to remove his cherry eye and all is well.  There is no medicine or daily care that he will need.  This is Isaac a 2 year old, 15 pounder who was very shy at first but warmed up quickly to the other dogs and his new surroundings. He is house and crate trained, my 2nd rescue for 2024 and he is extremely close to his buddy BUZBY. He follows BUZBY around like a shadow. They have a great time running zoomies in the backyard and playing chase. They do know there is a difference between inside and outdoor play. ISAAC is quiet and gives soft kisses. He is not bothered by the other foster dogs in the home but his buddy is BUZBY and he loves him. We think he is a Pomeranian/Corgi mix, he white coat is very soft and smooth and he does not mind you giving him head rubs. ISAAC has a cherry eye but is scheduled to have it removed this week before adoption. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Oh my goodness, still trying to figure out exactly what MADDIE is but the vet thinks she is mixed with Corgi/Terrier/Dachshund.  They estimate her to be exactly 1 year old and she weighs 25 pounds. MADDIE is a very good girl who is pleasant to be around and low maintenance on a daily basis.  She gets along with all of the dogs in the foster home and plays with most of them.  She is so easy-going and nice.  I figure she came from a home with kids in it because when she was found she had a pink marker drawing on her head, only a kid would do that.  Sadly, MADDIE was abandoned in a local PetSmart here in San Antonio, TX.  A lady pretending to be showing brought her in and just left her in the store to roam around.  The manager called me to help and I picked her up. He loves to romp, explore, and play with his siblings, but he also has the cutest little habit that sets him apart. He is going through his teething so if you have toddlers, please take this into consideration for awhile. He is working on not chewing on his humans! He will need lots of chew toys to keep himself entertained and would love to have a 4 legged brother or sister who wants to play! When he’s done for the day, Sonny is done.
