Story
Gunner is an adorable little guy, around 15 lbs.  We're not quite sure what his breed is, but he looks like a corgi with long legs!  We like to think of him as a pocket Shepherd.  Dont think he will get much over 35 lbs fully grown. Hes a bundle of energy and love, wants to make friends with everybody.  He is up to date on his shots and Kennel trained, but he's young so we are working on potty training with him.  He is super smart as well.  We have him schedule to be neutered in April at PALS in San Marcs.  He's ready for his new family!  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2688330##

Story
Juniper is a diamond in the (very) rough. Energetic, playful, and intelligent. She is eager to please and food motivated, but needs consistent and regular training. Loves exercise and rough-housing with other dogs. -- Female, 1.5 years old corgi mix, 20 lbs. We started fostering her in March 2025 as a favor to a local homeless services organization. Her previous owner was living out of a car and had to surrender Juniper to receive long-term housing. Juniper is friendly, goofy, and loving. She is easy on the leash when walking, doesn't bark or pull. Learns tricks quickly and has strong recall. She plays well with all dogs, but loves rough-housing with bigger breeds. At the same time, Junie can occasionally be challenging. She does not like her face/paws being touched and quickly becomes snappy and defensive if feeling cornered. Bathing and nails trims are difficult. Needs regular exercise. Junie is a beautiful mess who deserves an experienced, patient owner. Please reach out.

Story
Pictures of him in a service dog vest are old and when he used to be training as a service dog, he has since been washed. Stan is dog reactive and cannot be housed with other dogs. He is a herding breed which means he's very smart and can be stubborn. He's very energetic and will need exercise frequently. He also must be frequently groomed as he does shed a lot. He's good on walks but still learning on leash, if he sees other dogs while on walk he might bark, growl, and/or jump so try to keep a good distance. He is sneaky and will try to sneak past you when you open the door, try to make sure you put him up in his cage before you have the door open if you plan to open it for long amounts of time. He can be shy and first and take some time to warm up to people, he might not want to take treats or food from you the first time you meet with him, just give him time he will eventually come around.

Brady was discovered on someone's front porch in the wee hours of the morning on Superbowl Sunday. She heard him crying and brought him inside. He was only 4lbs and about 6 weeks old. Unable to keep the kind person reached out to our shelter. He was in good health, just needed to stay on gruel for a bit. Brady loves playing with other dogs and toys, he is a very curious little boy as well. He loves giving kisses, snuggling under your chin and food motivated. He is the sweetest! If interested in meeting Brady please email us for an application.

Story
🐾 Meet Poppy Poppy is a one-year-old sweetheart with the perfect mix of cuddly and independent. She was originally adopted into a home that ultimately wasn’t the right fit, and just before her scheduled spay, it was discovered she was pregnant. Poppy went on to have six beautiful puppies and has been an attentive and loving mom every step of the way. Now that her puppies are growing, it’s finally her turn to find a forever home. Poppy is incredibly affectionate and loves to be close to her people, but she also appreciates having her own space—especially around other dogs. Like many corgis and corgi mixes, she has a confident personality and knows what she wants, so she would do best in a home that respects her boundaries and understands her independent streak. She would thrive in a home that can give her both love and structure, and where she can continue to blossom into the amazing companion we know she is.
