Story
This is Trigger:) He is the most lovable, goof ball who is definitely playful, but absolutely behaves and listens quite well. He does great with kids and other animals. We are so sad to see him go. We are downsizing our home due to finances and unfortunately he can’t come with us. We thought we had a great home lined up for him and our hearts were so happy! Unfortunately they canceled on us at the last minute We are so disheartened and are desperate to find a good loving home for our dog. Please help! The Anderson’s

Story
Meet Lucy May! She is currently 16 weeks old, and we think she may be a Corgi / Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Lucy May's video here: Lucy May is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Eat, sleep, play, repeat. Lucy May is living her best puppy life right now - all she needs is YOU! Lucy May is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Lucy May's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to the PNW, New England, Midwest and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! We have over 17,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai. You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience. We care deeply about making the perfect match between pet and family for long term success! Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We’ve received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. We’ve even had many veterinarians adopt from us! Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. Your adoption fee goes beyond getting a fully vetted pet, it’s also a donation toward our mission of helping to solve the pet over-population crisis in TX. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Meet Rumi! This 3 month old cutie weighs about 20 pounds. We think she might be a Husky / Labrador Retriever mix, but as a proud rescue, their breed blend is a mystery – making them 100% unique and 100% loveable! While in our care, this sweet pup is soaking up all the snuggles, making new friends, and learning how to be the best little sidekick. Rumi is currently fostered in a loving foster home where she loves to play and take lots of naps. She is being fostered in a home with other dogs. Rumi is a beautiful puppy with one blue eye and one brown eye, giving her a truly unforgettable look. She’s curious, playful, and instantly bonds with anyone who shows her kindness. Rumi loves nothing more than snuggling up close after a bit of playtime. With her striking appearance and affectionate heart, Rumi is ready to be someone’s perfect companion. See Rumi's beautiful personality here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txgxMtDLkfc Puppies are adorable bundles of energy, curiosity, and mischief! We’re looking for adopters who understand that raising a great pup takes time, patience, and a whole lot of love (and treats). Socialization, exercise, and training are a must. Before falling head over paws for this cutie, make sure you’re ready for the energy, smarts, and quirks that come with their estimated breed mix! Every pup is unique, but having a good idea of their potential needs helps ensure a happy match for both of you.
