Meet Princess, a two-year-old Husky mix weighing 46 pounds.Princess is a wonderful medium-sized pup with a big heart and a whole new life ahead of her. She was rescued by Animal Control after being seized from a home where she and many other dogs were living in neglect. All of the dogs arrived with varying degrees of skin issues and flea infestations, and while Princess has some hair loss right now, we’re hopeful that with proper care, time, and lots of TLC, her beautiful coat will grow back in.It’s clear Princess hasn’t had the easiest life, but she hasn’t let that change her sweet spirit. Now, she’s ready to discover all the things she’s been missing out on—long walks, new smells, soft beds, kind people, and the simple joy of being a loved dog.Princess already enjoys leash walks and exploring her surroundings, making her a fun companion for someone ready to help her experience the world. And at a great medium size, she’s just the right size for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between!She’s ready to leave her past behind and start learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for. Her transformation is just beginning, and we can’t wait to watch this sweet Princess blossom into the happy, confident girl she was always meant to be.This pet is available for adoption on 8.28.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
