Story
Hello there, my name is Raava! I'm an 11-month-old female Husky/Shepherd mix! I am current on my vaccines, and soon to be heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped.3 words that describe me: Friendly, Energetic, OutgoingThings staff and volunteers have to say about me: I came into the shelter with my brother Vaatu. I have lots of energy and I love meeting new people! If you're an active person I'd make a great companion! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8 or 9/10Housetraining Status: I am working on it, a consistent schedule with lots of praise will help me learn!I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. I previously lived with another dog, so I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Running around, jumping, playing with squeaky toys, and getting love from humans! Things I need work on are: Basic commands, housetraining, and walking on leash. Any special needs: N/ADoggy day out notes: "She was super sweet on the car ride to the park. She cuddled with me by putting her head, with cone, on the armrest and I put my arm around her and she leaned into it like a hug. She is one of the most sweet and gentle spirits I've met. Little sounds in the woods around us drew her attention and made her nervous at first. She doesnt seem to know that when the wind blows, leaves, nuts, and small branches fall down in the forest. All the natural sounds were fascinating to her. We spent about 1/3 of the time just sitting on logs letting her listen to things. She is very expressive and let me know when it was time to walk again. She was so confident jumping over the logs. She really enjoyed the jumping. She also seem to want to make sure I would be attentive to her. She is so sweet! On the way home she pouted when she realized we were leaving the park. She was so cuddly on the way to the park. But on the way home, she sat as far away as possible with her back to me. Im glad she relaxed on the way back. But when she did look at me, it was the typical Husky pout. Poor thing. I love her so much, she is so easy to fall in love with. Super gentle soul and very ready to love someone.
