Story
Hi, I'm Jaycee! I'm a 2-year-old female husky/shepherd mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped.3 words that describe me: Shy, Curious, LoyalThings staff and volunteers have to say about me: I am the sweetest and calmest girl you'll ever meet! I don't require a whole lot to make me happy, I just want to be with my humans and have another friendly dog in my home. I would love an owner that works from home, or is gone minimally so I can be with them all the time! I was very shy when I first came to CRHS, but I've made tons of progress. With that being said I would still appreciate someone (human or dog) to help me come out of my shell a little more! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 5/10Housetraining Status: I have been very good at keeping my kennel clean, but it may take me some time to adjust to the schedule in my new home. I should do well in a home: I should be fine with children of all ages given proper supervision. I really like other dogs, so much so that I am required to go home with another friendly dog. We're unsure how I'd do with cats but, I'm so laid back with proper introductions I may do just fine.My favorite activities are: My favorite thing in the world is being with my canine and human friends.Things I need work on are: Confidence building and basic commandsWords from her foster:" Jaycee is the perfect girl, she likes to nap in the bed, sit in the sunshine and hang out with our dogs. As long as she has someone to keep her company, she's a happy girl!"Doggy day out notes: " Jaycee did amazing on her DD outing! We had a very calm, quiet and enjoyable walks together. This gal loves pup cups, car rides and walks! Jaycee is such a perfect gal having out and my favorite at the shelter💜""Jaycee did amazing on her DD outing! It's always a relaxing, low key outing with her. Jaycee exudes calm, quiet energy and she excels at leash walking where she will calmly be at your side or behind you. She is such an easy pup to have on outings and very perfect as well. Story
Meet Balto — a gentle, playful, and affectionate boy with a heart as big as his fluffy, handsome look. Balto may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his sweet and loving personality shines through. He absolutely loves people and is eager to please, making him a wonderful companion. He’s crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night (not a peep!), and he gets along great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Balto especially enjoys playing with his doggy friends and will happily chase them around the yard. His favorite things include chew toys, being outside, and soaking up time with his people. He’s currently working on fetch — he’s got the “chase” part down perfectly… bringing it back is still under negotiation. While he enjoys playtime, Balto is more on the low-energy side and is just as happy snuggling up and relaxing with you. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing, and affectionate companion, Balto might just be your perfect match. Fostered in Black River Falls, WI. To apply to adopt, visit tailsofhopewi.org.
