Story
Yentna is the kind of dog who brings both joy and energy wherever she goes—a lovable, affectionate girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for being part of the family! Described as a true sweetheart, Yentna has lived comfortably indoors and is already familiar with home life, including letting her people know when she needs to go outside and settling nicely when confined to a room or crate. She’s a smart girl, too! Yentna already knows an impressive list of cues including sit, stay, down, come, leave it, drop, okay, quiet, and even “treat”. She enjoys having things to do and would likely love a home that keeps her mind engaged and gives her chances to show off all she knows. When it comes to playtime, tennis balls are at the top of her favorites list, along with chew toys she can happily entertain herself with. She’s playful, friendly, and affectionate, and clearly enjoys both activity and closeness with her people. Yentna handles touch well, enjoys being included in everyday life (yes, furniture privileges included!) She does well with men, women, children, and other dogs, making her a lovely candidate for many types of homes. Of course, we do encourage slow and thoughtful introductions. After being returned due to conflict with another dog in the home; the original dog was not a fan or sharing his space and tried injuring Yentna. Yentna is ready for a fresh start and a family who will give this bright, loving girl the stability and affection she deserves!
