Arnold (A141355) is an 8-week-old AK Husky x Lab mix available for adoption! 04/09/26 This adorable litter arrived at the shelter at a very young age with their mom Callie. They are now old enough to venture into their new homes! In typical puppy fashion, they will need continued help with potty training, kennel training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. They have had a great start in foster and are just looking for families who can continue showering them in love and providing them with care! Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward! If you are interested in meeting any of these adorable fluffs, please let us know! April 15, 2026, 12:11 am

Story
Bandit (A133802) is a 2-year-old AK Husky who weighed 76.3 pounds on intake! 04/13/26 Bandit was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He is an active breed and is looking for a home that understands his energy needs. He was described as a loyal boy who has an outgoing personality! Bandit does not have experience around children, but was said to jump up on people, so this is something to keep in mind if you have children in your home. Bandit knows his basic commands but would still benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. His surrendering owner stated that he is kennel-trained and mostly housebroken, but has regressed here recently. Keeping him on a consistent schedule does great for him! Bandit has limited experience around other animals, but was said to be interested in other dogs. It was noted that he has a rough playstyle with other animals. Ensuring that you are making appropriate introductions is key to helping set him up for success. Bandit was said to really like his people and LOVES a good belly rub. If you are interested in meeting Bandit, please let us know! 03/11/24 Will arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new home! On arrival at the shelter, Will had an eye infection that has responded wonderfully to treatment! Will is a very active pup who is looking for an owner who can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated as he ages. He is going to need help with potty training, kennel training, basic obedience, and continued positive socialization. Puppies are a lot of work and a big responsibility. If you have the time and energy to devote to this little one, please let us know! April 15, 2026, 12:11 am

Story
Callie (A141353) is an 8-year-old AK Husky x Lab mix who weighed 61.6 pounds on intake! 04/08/26 This wonderful mama dog is Callie! Callie arrived at the shelter with a young litter of puppies and was sent to a foster home until her pups were old enough to be rehomed. Callie is truly a superstar and ready for this new chapter of her life! She was said to be kennel-trained and housebroken! Callie has an unknown history with children, but was said to do well with strangers and adults! She was said to get along well with other dogs, but has no experience around smaller critters like cats. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new animals to help set her up for success. Courtesy of the shelter fund, Callie was sent out for a dental cleaning and a tooth extraction! She would love to find her new people to love! If you are interested in meeting Callie, please let us know! April 15, 2026, 12:11 am

Story
Coach Wiebe (A141635) is a 9-year-old husky who weighed over 60 lbs at intake!04/04/26 This handsome guy is Coach Wiebe! Wiebe arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. His collar and demeanor suggested sled dog, so we tried him outside in the dog yard, and he made himself right at home! He did do well in an inside kennel though, so he may be used to the inside pet dog life! Wiebe has done well with keeping his kennel clean, so he may be housebroken. He seems comfortable around other dogs, but we are not entirely sure how he truly feels. Please make sure to do slow and controlled introductions between Wiebe and any other animals or children. He did go out for a dental, courtesy of our amazing Shelter Fund. If you are interested in meeting Coach Wiebe, please give the shelter a call!April 15, 2026, 12:11 am

Story
Lilly is a gentle senior girl with a soft heart, lovely manners, and a quiet spirit that shines brightest once she feels safe. At 8 years old, Lilly is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy the comfort she deserves after all she’s been through. Lilly came to us after her owner passed away, and was later surrendered because the other dogs in the new home were simply too energetic for her. Needless to say, this sweet girl has experienced a lot of change and is ready for a peaceful next chapter filled with patience, kindness, and love. She can be shy when meeting new people and will need a little time to build trust, but once she does, Lilly shows her affection in the sweetest ways — soft tail wags, gentle eagerness to greet familiar faces, and a love for quiet companionship. Shelter staff have watched her slowly open up, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see her gentle personality emerge. Lilly previously lived with a Pomeranian and generally does well with respectful, low-key dogs. She has shown no reactivity in the shelter, though excessive noise and chaos can overwhelm her, so she would likely do best with a companion who matches her calm energy. We’re always happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet if needed. She has also lived around cats and may do well with them in some situations, but because she can sometimes decide to chase them, a cat-free home may be the easiest fit for everyone! Lilly is the definition of a seasoned house dog. She is potty trained, waits patiently to go outside, and has not been known to be destructive when left alone. While she has not been crate trained, she often keeps herself content with toys and settles nicely on her own. She also has wonderful leash manners and knows an impressive list of cues including sit, stay, down, off, treat, come, drop, and no speak — proof that this lovely lady has learned a lot over the years and still enjoys engaging with her people! Though she is a senior, Lilly still enjoys the simple pleasures: a slow stroll, an easy game of fetch, enrichment activities, and especially anything involving peanut butter. She was incredibly affectionate with her family and truly appreciates soft snuggles, gentle company, and good ear scratch. Senior dogs often have a harder time adjusting to shelter life, especially after spending years in a loving home. We are so proud of how far Lilly has come, and we know that in the right home, with someone willing to give
