Story
Keen (A141059) is a 4-month-old Husky x Rottweiler mix available for adoption! 02/03/26 These adorable pups were surrendered to the shelter in hopes of finding their new places to call home! Their mom was stated to be a Rottweiler x Lab mix, and their dad was unknown (however, we suspect that their dad is a Husky x GSD mix). Puppies are a lot of work but worth the reward if you have the time to devote to them. They have been working on kennel training but will need continued help with all of their training â&#194&#128&#194&#147 kennel training, potty training, basic commands, and continued positive socialization. They were described as very friendly puppies who have done well with people of all ages. They were also said to be playful with other dogs and to do well with the cat in the home. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new potential friends. These pups were known to chew, and are teething, so providing them with appropriate toys, so they do not chew on you, is important! Frozen kongs can be a great tool! If you are interested in meeting any of these rambunctious pups, please let us know!February 20, 2026, 2:25 pm

Story
Lilly is a senior girlie who will thrive best in a calm home. She has spent much of her life on a chain and though she has been adapting well to the shelter - she will need continued patience while she adapts and adjusts to home living. Lilly has lived with other dogs and no issues were reported. She will likely appreciate a friend who respects her space and is not looking to keep a puppy busy! Lilly is shy with meeting new people. Though hesitant initially she will gently seek you for soft head pets and neck scratches. Despite most of her life as an outdoor dog she does appear to be potty trained and always keeps her space nice and tidy. Lilly also walks well on a leash and is her most relaxed shelf when embracing the great outdoors! Lilly has low energy but will enjoy regular walks in her new home. Lilly is a very sweet girl who has a lot of love to give. It`s not fair that she was dealt a rough hand in life, but we are looking forward to her bright future!

Story
Mavis (A135771) is an 8-year-old AK Husky who most recently weighed 43.4 lbs pounds!02/14/26 Mavey-Baby is back at the shelter due to no fault of her. In her most recent home, she was said to be kennel trained and housebroken and to do well with other dogs and adult humans. She has been known to chew and was said to generally not mind very well. She is an outgoing, friendly and affectionate girl who can play a little rough, even with just 3 legs! If you are interested in meeting Miss Mavis, please give us a call!12/17/25 Miss Mavis is back at the shelter and looking for her new place to call home! Even though she is reaching her senior years and a tripod, she does not let that slow her down one bit! Mavis is full of spunk and energy! It was previously noted that she would do best in a home without small children or smaller-sized pets (small dogs, cats, or pocket pets). She did live with other dogs of similar size but enjoys her space and â&#194&#128&#194&#156meâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 time. It was noted that Mavis is kennel-trained and housebroken! Mavis would love to find a home that can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated; she may enjoy puzzle toys! If you are interested in meeting Mavis, please let us know! 12/26/24 Mavis is back from her foster and ready to find her forever home! While she was staying with her foster it was noted that Mavis may do best in a home without young children, small dogs, cats or pocket pets. Mavis thoroughly enjoys her own time and would much prefer to keep to herself rather than share with other pets in the foster home. Despite having had her left hind leg amputated, Mavis still has plenty of get-up-and-go! She would love a home where she could stay active and go on many adventures with her family. Mavis kept her kennel very clean while staying with her foster and did not have a problem going outside for potty breaks. The foster also noted that Mavis loves going for car rides and having a comfy place to rest at the end of the day. If you are interested in meeting Mavis, please let us know! 10/02/24 This perfect girl is Miss Mavis! Mavis was surrendered to the shelter because she needed emergent medical attention. She had her left hind leg amputated and has a wound being treated on her right front leg from a bullet wound. Even though she has undergone quite a traumatic ordeal her positive attitude has not waivered! Mavis is always happy to greet everyone she sees and has been quite the patient girl during her treatment. We do not know how she was in her last home behavioral wise but at the shelter she has been a good girl. She appears to be housebroken and will potty outside. Mavis seems playful toward her doggy neighbors but possibly a little too interested in smaller critters. She may do best in a home without cats or pocket pets. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with any and all new potential friends. She is also quite the puller on the leash. Donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let her being a tripod fool you, she is ready to go go go! If you are interested in meeting sweet Mavis, please let us know! February 14, 2026, 8:59 pm

Story
Radar, an energetic 5–6‑year‑old neutered Husky mix is the definition of fun on four legs. He’s spunky, spirited, and full of charm. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, showing off his goofy side, or leaning in for affection, he brings a contagious zest for life. He’s the kind of dog who makes every day feel a little more exciting. He loves outdoor adventures and brisk walks, playtime with toys and humans alike and mental challenges He’ll thrive with someone who appreciates an active, expressive dog with a big heart. A home that enjoys exercise, structure, and plenty of play would be perfect. He’s eager to bond deeply and be your loyal, spirited companion. He has lived with another dog but cat skills are unknown.

Story
Luna (A141102) is a 6-month-old AK Husky who weighed 38.2 pounds on intake! These cute little sisters are Luna and Bandit! They were surrendered to the shelter and are looking for their new families to grow old with! These girls were said to be kennel-trained, but are still working on potty training and basic commands. We encourage their next owners to bring them to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on their manners and build their confidence. They were both said to LOVE the outdoors and playing in the snow! They were both known to dig, jump on people, and get into trash. They are looking for homes that can keep them both mentally and physically stimulated as they age! They have not met many new people in their lives so making sure that introductions are done in a slow, safe, and controlled manner is important especially if you have smaller kiddos at home. They were, however, said to really like other dogs and these girls love playing! They have no experience with smaller critters, so if you have small pets in your home, please ensure appropriate introductions are made. If you are interested in meeting Luna or Bandit, please let us know! February 13, 2026, 12:48 am
