At 3 years old, Zuko is a playful, affectionate guy who absolutely loves people and attention. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing—whether that’s going for a walk, playing with his favorite toys, or curling up nearby for some well-earned pets. His previous owner described him as “the best dog I’ve ever had,” and it’s easy to see why. Zuko is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows a long list of commands including sit, stay, down, off, come, leave it, drop it, and no. He’s smart, eager to please, and enjoys learning. He also rides well in the car and is always ready to tag along on your next outing. Zuko is on the chunky side; not only does he enjoy regular exercise and playtime, he will benefit from it to help get him to a healthy weight! This playful boy loves sturdy chew toys, bones, and anything that can keep his busy mind occupied. Soft toys don’t usually stand a chance against him! While he’s happy to play and have fun, he’s also known to be a big sweetheart who enjoys affection and being close to his people. Zuko has done well with other dogs, especially when proper introductions take place! We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed. He may bark at strangers initially, but once he realizes you’re a friend, his loving personality quickly shines through. Because he’s a larger, enthusiastic dog, he may accidentally knock over small children when excited, so families with older kids or dog savvy children may be the best fit. Zuko is looking for a family who will appreciate his goofy personality, continue providing him with structure and enrichment, and give him all the love he so happily returns!

Hi, my name is Yogi I am 3 years old, I am a great hunter of mice and squirrels. I love going for morning walks and running with a four wheeler. I groan, huff and talk a little when I am ready for my morning walk. I sleep like Sid from Ice Age...in the most comical positions imaginable. I am extremely mellow for a husky and not a barker. I have never been aggressive with people or other dogs...I just get grumpy and growly once and awhile. I have not picked up on the idea of barking to come inside. I am kennel trained. My current owner claps hands to call me since she cannot whistle! I love to go for rides in a car or truck. I love to destroy stuffies...10 minutes and that squeaker is out! I might fetch a toy once or twice and then I'm good. I would do well in a fenced yard or a home out in the country.
