Story
Dexter is currently one of EHS's longest residents and would love to find his new family soon! To help, his adoption fee has been partially sponsored by generous donors. Dexter also receives a free 6 week class/private consult here at the Edmonton Humane Society with his adoption!EHS volunteer comments: "Dexter is a sweet, playful dog who likes nothing better than to have the run of a big pen. He thoroughly enjoys himself running around the pen, sniffing, rolling in the snow, and climbing big hills of snow. Life is wonderful when you are a big dog in a big pen!""Dexter is the best! He can be a little nervous, but warms up quickly. He really liked when I scratched his shoulders, he leaned up against me for more. He takes treats very gently and his house training is good. Above all, Dexter loves his walks. He is good on leash, and gives lots of check ins. He loves sniffing around and trampling through the snow.Dexter is a laid-back guy who's all about enjoying the simple things in life. He loves to hang out with his people and also enjoys heading out for relaxed walks, especially when there's snow on the ground. If you're looking for a chill companion who will happily keep you company and join you for peaceful strolls, Dexter could be your perfect match. Come meet him at the Edmonton Humane Society! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 32.2 Age: 5yrs 2mths 0wks

He's house trained and already knows sit, down, drop, and shake, making him a smart boy who's eager to show off his manners. Story
Yukon is a 4 year old, purebred, Siberian Husky. He is great with children as he grew up with my young son. Yukon is house trained but loves the outdoors and dog parks. He gets along with EVERYONE. He is a very smart and happy boy. We leave his food out and he only eats when he wants to, making it super easy to care for him. Unfortunately, our family has had a marital breakdown and must sell our house. Neither of us have the means to take him with us. All shots are up-to-date, neutered, and micro-chipped. We have all the documentation. We can provide his crate, place pad, large doghouse, toys, leashes, etc.

Hi! I’m ChandlerI was born right here in foster care and I’m a curious little pup that has been loved and handled from day one. I’m the first to explore a new toy or investigate a new sound, and I’m equal parts adventurous and affectionate. Growing up in a home environment has helped me build confidence, good manners, and a love for people. I am ready to bring joy, cuddles, and curiosity into my forever home.Likes: cuddles, chasing toys and my foster siblings, taking long naps, exploring my surroundingsDislikes: none notedKennel trained: yes (but I still like to be let out every 4 hours at night)House trained: working on itDogs: yesCats: yesKids: yes

Story
Hi, I’m Blueberry!About me: My foster mom thinks I am appropriately names as Blueberry. I am kind of shaped like a berry (long as a am tall) and super sweet. I am still a pup so I find everything fun. I desperately want to play with the older dogs but they are teaching me not everyone wants to play. I love going on walks and am learning to walk on leash. My foster mom thinks I am super brave as I am willing to try new things. When the humans are not home I am in an outside run with my own building. I have learnt to go to the bathroom outside. When I am in the house I haven’t had an accident in a week, but I am still young so accidents may happen. I am good with the house cats and curious about the Guinea pigs. Likes: getting attention, going for walksDislikes: nothing so farSpecial request:Kennel trained: YES, outdoor kennelHouse trained: almostDogs: yesCats: yesChildren: yes
