Story
Meet Sinatra – the crooner of canines! At around eight years young, Sinatra may be past the puppy stage, but don’t be fooled, this gentleman still has plenty of pep in his step and a twinkle in his eye. He struts on a leash like he owns the sidewalk, ready to explore the world one neighborhood stroll at a time.Sinatra is a true people’s dog; he adores his humans and isn’t shy about soaking up all the attention (and we mean all the attention). Other dogs? Well… let’s just say he’s more of a “solo act.” But that just means you’ll never have to share his love.If you’re looking for a loyal, charming, slightly sassy sidekick who will keep you smiling, Sinatra is your guy. Call us at 928-634-7387 to meet this superstar today. He is available to adopt or foster.

Story
Jasper the fur ball is both affectionate and sassy. He enjoys being around his humans and is looking for those that will spend time him. Jasper walks nicely on leash and enjoys a stroll around the neighborhood. Jasper weighs a chubby 80 lbs and knows that with exercise and proper food he will continue to lose weight and regain his handsome figure.Jasper has let us know that he prefers being the one and only four-legged creature in the household. He's an attention hog and will make a great hang-around companion.Give us a call to meet Jasper, 928-634-7387.

Story
Demos is a 4 year old siberian husky-timberwolf mix. He is an amazing boy and I wish we could keep him. We are fostering him for my son who got him when his friend passed away in a motorcycle accident. He is great with other dogs and all humans. He is Not good with cats or chickens and im not sure what other types of animals. He would be better with a family that is active and has space for him to run. He would need a brother or sister to keep him company and a doggy door. He also loves the cold. The pet fee is negotiable, I just want to make sure he get his forever home.

Story
Carolina is looking for a loving home! -I'm very very sweet, but I do keep to myself. I will come up to you to ask for pets when I'm wanting them. Plus I have a really cute howl that you'll hear sometimes. -I'm an independent girl who takes a minute to build a bond with humans. But once I do, I'll be loyal! -I'm potty trained -Dog friendly, but please bring your dog to the shelter to make sure we can get along before living together! I can coexist with them. -Knows 'sit' -Low-medium energy level -I have not been destructive in my kennel at the shelter. Come meet me at High Country Humane, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11 am–5 pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!

Story
Meet Tikaani, an 11 month old, 40lb girl with a gentle soul and so much love waiting just beneath the surface. She can be cautious when meeting new people. Maybe she’s had her heart a little bruised before… we may never know. What we do know is that patience and kindness mean everything to her. Give Tikaani a little time and consistent love, and you’ll start to see her blossom. Once she warms up, she absolutely melts into pets, gives sweet kisses, and lets her goofy personality shine. There is something really special about earning her trust, and once you do, she is all in. She’s almost fully potty trained and loves her crate. It’s her safe space where she can relax. She gets along pretty well with other dogs, but we always recommend a meet and greet to make sure everyone is a good match. And while she has a tender heart, she also has an adventurous spirit. Tikaani is very active and would thrive with a family that loves to move. She can go on hikes, play multiple rounds of fetch, and still be ready for more fun. An active home that wants a loyal trail buddy and backyard play partner would be perfect for her. Bonus points if you have treats, because she definitely loves those too. To set up a meet and greet or ask additional questions, contact her foster at (610) 585-3164.

Story
Hi, I’m Apollo! I was surrendered through no fault of my own when my owner could no longer care for me. I’m good with other dogs, kennel trained, partially house trained, and would be a great fit for an active family. I have no experience with cats or other small animals.I love to run and play and have lots of energy, so I need regular exercise and mental stimulation. I’d make an excellent running partner - I’ve gone on runs up to 15 miles! When I get excited, I can be a bit jumpy, and I’m not reliable off-leash.I enjoy tug, fetch, agility, water, and of course running. I’m very playful and can be vocal when I’m having fun. I previously lived with four other dogs, so I’m used to being part of a pack and would likely enjoy a canine companion.
