Story
Meet one of the silliest guys we've met. BooBear is a husky/shepherd mix and was found running loose in the Cornville area. He's pretty shy about being touched and is learning to enjoy a good brushing. Boo gets along great with other dogs. He's looking for a home with a playful dog, a dog that will help him gain confidence with humans. Boo loves to go for walks and has become a volunteer favorite. If you are a patient person and have a fun-loving dog(s) who needs a friend, please give us a call and ask about BooBear.(Boo weighs around 60 lbs).

Handsome Degas is a little shy when he first meets you. He likes attention and hanging out with his humans. Degas enjoys walks in the desert but is a little nervous when walking on streets. He is looking for an experienced husky owner who will help him to build confidence and trust. Degas is a fan of chasing chickens, cats will most likely need to be chased also!

Story
Meet Ollie, a loving and energetic Husky looking for his forever home! He loves the outdoors and enjoys running and exploring. Ollie is house, crate, and doggy door trained and gets along well with kids, cats, and other dogs. Unfortunately, our other two dogs have not accepted him, and our fence is not tall enough to keep this agile guy safe. He has had seizures that may need further exploration, but they don’t affect his wonderful personality. If you're looking for an active, friendly companion, Ollie could be the perfect fit for your family! The rehome fee goes toward Ollie's crate with his favorite blanky and chew toy, his current food with bowl and water bowl, and his harness with leash.

Story
Steve is just beginning his life and what a life it will be. Steve is 1.5 yr. old and weighs 65 lbs. His owner moved to an apartment where dogs were not allowed and was taken in by a very nice couple. His world was upside down, but they gave him security and love. What he needs now is full-time attention, guidance and training. He feels alone in the world and needs a family to make sure he is always around someone, trained in the basics and gets his mind started in the right direction. Both Steve's Guardians work, so he is alone all day until they come home. He wants to be with his family 24/7, so he digs under the fence and gets into mischief. Not a lifestyle we want him to continue. He is a Siberian Husky and he needs challenges and a lot of guidance. He also needs a lot of exercise. Huskies are very smart and Steve is no exception. He is very intelligent and a quick learner. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. Oh, did I mention he is absolutely gorgeous??!! Steve loves to play and explore. He needs an active family and older children would be best. Camping trips, walks, training classes and everyday guidance in obedience and manners is a must. Working on developing his mind and potential would also be needed. Siberian Huskies are a special breed and anyone owning one must know the breed. They are smart, athletic, loving, and loyal to a fault. In other words, one very special breed. If you think you can give Steve what he needs please complete an online application or contact Ella at ellas.beagles@gmail.com Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. Hey guys, JJ here. I am looking for my second chance. Many describe me as sweet, smart, and loving girl, aaand I have to agree with them. I love receiving affection, spending quality time with my people, and definitely love receiving treats. Treats are a great way to teach me new things. I do know a few tricks like "sit", and "shake". I am also pretty good on a leash. However, I do want to learn more because I want to be your bestest girl. Also, I hope you don't have any other animals at home because I want to be spoiled with all your love and attention! Come visit me and let's find out if you're my forever home.**Only Animal**

Story
Hi! I'm Max. And I am maxed out in cuteness and sweetness! I am a 10-year-old who was transferred to the Sedona Humane Society from another rescue, and I hear Sedona is a great place to be for old guys like me. But I'm open to living anywhere as long as you'll enjoy my company, and I know you will. I'm a laid back guy who loves the simple things - walks in the park, splashing in the pool, tasty dog treats. What doggo doesn't?! After a short walk and a few sniffs, I like to take a long afternoon nap and curl up at your feet. Even though I'm a bit bigger than some, I am a smooth walker on a leash. Like most seniors I take my time and shorter walks are all I need. Ya know, I'm just an easy going guy looking for someone to call my best friend and spend my golden years with.I used to live with small children and a puppy, but it's always a good idea to have a meet and greet with the whole family. So bring them by the shelter and let's see how it goes. I am fixed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines! Call the shelter to set up an appointment to meet me today! 928-282-4679. Love you - woof - Max
