Story
Sid is a striking husky with a thick, luxurious coat that speaks to his northern heritage. His piercing ice-blue eyes hold a mix of curiosity and caution, reflecting his wariness of the unknown. Despite his apprehension, Sid's demeanor is remarkably gentle and affectionate, showcasing his inherently friendly nature.Nestled within his fur, you might notice the scars of past battles with heartworms, a testament to his resilience in the face of adversity. Though he bears the physical remnants of his struggles, Sid's spirit remains unbroken, his wagging tail and eager panting a testament to his zest for life. However, Sid's past has left him with a tendency to nip when startled or feeling threatened, a habit born from a desire to protect himself in unfamiliar situations. Yet, with patience and understanding, Sid's trust can be earned, revealing the loyal companion and loving soul that lies within.Come visit Maumelle Animal Services, 425 Cogdell Drive, Maumelle AR. Story
FrostyHusky mix1 year/Female24-D107Intake: April 25, 2024One look and you’ll know how she got her name, meet Frosty with beautiful frosty blue eyes. She’s sweeter than sweet, friendly, and playful. Exercise is the key to keeping this girl happy, she would love nothing better than long walks or a game of fetch. She loves to play, get lots of pets, and belly rubs. Frosty will need to meet all family members, including resident dogs to make sure everyone gets along before going home. Once home, please give her time to decompress and get used to what you expect of her. You will have to put in the time to train her, but with patience you will be amazed at how smart she is. Frosty will be spayed, utd on vaccines including rabies and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting this blue eyed beauty, stop by the shelter, pet viewing hours are Monday-Friday, Noon-7:00pm and Saturday, Noon-4:00pm.
