Story
Sasha is mostly BLIND. She has been passed around to several families who really did not want her and didn't take good care of her.  She's about 5 years old and we really don't know what happened to her vision but it was probably congenital. She is used to being outside and wanders around without fear even though she often bumps right into things. We have learned she loves to be inside, cuddled up with humans. Sasha LOVES human contact and craves any attention. She tends to jump up on us and gives hugs and kisses! Sasha is very unhappy at the shelter, however, not eating or sleeping well due to the loud environment. She is underweight and we are really trying to put some weight on her.  She is a super sweet dog and very smart. She needs to be in a home. Can you either foster or adopt this precious soul? No chickens, cats or small dogs for this lady. Her predator instincts kick in and they don't have a chance! If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.December 22, 2025, 2:17 pm

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Logan is a very sweet, loyal dog who absolutely thrives when he’s around his people. He has a calm, gentle nature and is perfectly behaved when someone is home — he’ll lay beside you, nap, follow you from room to room, and just enjoy being part of your day. He’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, and he truly just wants to be loved and included. Logan does have separation anxiety, which means he struggles when left completely alone. He is fully house-trained when someone is home and has a great routine, but when left by himself he becomes stressed and may have accidents. Because of this, he needs a home where someone is home most of the time, such as a work-from-home person, a retired individual, or a family with a consistent schedule. He will thrive with someone patient who wants a close, loyal companion. Logan is a loving dog with so much potential and will bond deeply with the right person who can give him stability and reassurance.

Story
Monroe was a malnourished stray that we took in approximately 4 years ago. He is a good boy...somebody neutered him and he clearly had some type of house training. I really love him and I have tried my best to keep up and provide, but unfortunately I have had some life changes and he deserves better.
