Story
Liv has the breathtaking blue eyes that huskies are known for, and one ear that didn't quite make the husky cut. Her personality is a lot like that ear, not quite the husky you'd expect... she's laid-back, loving, and just happy to be... Liv! She is bonded with her sister, Maddie, too. The two are rarely apart from each other, even when they have the chance for one-on-one time or switching to a different yard. As such, we are asking that the two are adopted together so that their bond is kept strong and they are given the best outcome possible. Stats: - Husky Mix (dad was 100% Alaskan husky, mom is rumored to be a Pit mix) - Spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives - Crate trained (food, treats, naptime, bedtime, while humans are away) - Laid-back, "no worries" personality (sometimes walks into walls...) - LOVES her sister and dog friends - Has learned that cats are friends, not food, but might really want them to be food, but understands that they're not - Selective with other dogs, tasty cats, and people (after she warms up to them)

Story
Maddie is a sweet and charming husky mix who loves to be outside or inside and play, sleep, run, and just be a dog. Maddie came to W&S with her sister, Liv, at six weeks old, just needing a place to call home while they grew strong and healthy. During her time at the Sanctuary, Maddie has learned basic manners, including "sit" and is eager to learn more tricks. She is crate trained, potty trained, and a sweetheart of a dog. Our one request with Maddie is that she is adopted together with her sister, Liv. These two don't leave each others' sides often and they are happiest and healthiest when they are together. Stats: - Female husky mix (dad was Alaskan Husky, mom was rumored to be a Pit mix) - Up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives, and is spayed - Microchipped - Loves to run and play outside with her sister and other dogs - Shy and sweet, will gladly let other dogs take the lead - Protective of her sister and other dog friends (not aggressive) - Has learned that cats are friends, not food, but will still nose them roughly just in case that changes - Crate trained (food, treats, bedtime, naptime, when humans are away) - Potty trained - Selective with other dogs, cats, and people (after she warms up to them)

Story
She was one of our very first shelter pulls back in 2021, rescued from a rural shelter in Newport, Arkansas. They reached out in desperation—the temperatures were about to drop dangerously low, and they weren’t equipped to keep their animals safe. Evie was just seven weeks old when we brought her into the warmth and safety she deserved. She was adopted, loved, and later returned through no fault of her own after a divorce. Recently, she was brought back to us heartworm positive, but we’ve already started making plans to get her treated and healthy again. We are currently looking for a place to crash so we can start her heartworm treatment.

Story
Tucker was found by the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office, extremely skinny and clearly having had a rough start. Despite everything he’s been through, Tucker is slowly learning that people can be kind and that love and full meals are something he can count on. Each day he’s gaining strength, confidence, and trust. With a little patience and a lot of love, Tucker is blossoming into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be. Now he’s just waiting for the forever family who will continue showing him how good life can be. ❤️
