Story
Meet Gigi 7168 Before Gigi was first introduced to the Humane Society bark park, the photographer had to convince her that it was going to be a fun for everyone adventure. She was still a little apprehensive till her next-door neighbor Harper volunteered to join her and they walked comfortably together to the park and then the frolic began. Gigi discovered the joy of leaping high to capture a flying squeaky and taking the rather scary looking miniature panda for the ride of its life. She and her friend Harper shared toys and excitement and even treats hidden in the grass, always with utmost respect toward each other. 7-year-old Gigi is a quiet, gentle natured, unassuming canine who interacts wonderfully with other dogs and humans alike. Gigi showed her sweet, inner-self as she shared a hug with a loving Big Paws volunteer during a Humane Society meet-and-greet celebration. Despite her name, Gigi is probably not a Parisian girl but her Louisiana Catahoula genetics qualify her for that fitting description.

Story
He's was with me for about 5 years. I've owned him since he was a puppy and he has been a great friend to me. It's unfortunate, but I'm moving and won't be able to care for him properly. He is quite docile, and can get a little excited around new dogs, he doesn't bite, rarely barks, and is very good at letting you know when he needs to go potty or otherwise. I love him dearly and hope whoever finds adopts him can give him the proper care and attention he needs.

Story
Ritz is a fun-loving 2-year-old with lots of energy and an eagerness to learn. She’s currently working on her basic commands and learning how to walk nicely on a leash. With her enthusiastic personality, Ritz will thrive with someone patient who’s ready to help her polish her manners. The good news? Ritz takes corrections very well and is motivated to do her best—especially when treats are involved! She absolutely loves being outside, where she can burn off energy and enjoy the fresh air. With consistency, guidance, and plenty of love, Ritz has all the potential to become an amazing, well-mannered companion.Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

Story
Krampus is a sweet, soulful man. He is gentle and loving, and simultaneously naughty and ready to start a bit of trouble. If you want to be sure your kitchen counters are clean and never leave a dirty dish out, Krampus will get you in line. Krampus cannot be trusted to use a dog door as he can jump a privacy fence. And he will do so! He does well with a stake/tie-out for outside time. He loves playing with dog friends and gets along with nearly everyone he meets. Krampus walks well on a leash and loves going for walks. At 10 years old, he is spry but also loves to lounge. Krampus is Heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment soon. His treatment requires lots of rest and is coordinated and paid for by Big Paws of the Ozarks.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application).
