Story
Hi there! My name is Toby and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 6 year old, male, Husky who came to SB Humane in search of a loving family to spoil me silly. I am a big, goofy, talkative boy who can't wait for his next adventure. I love to run and play with other dogs and run around with kids in the yard. I enjoy being brushed and playing fetch. I have quickly become a staff favorite while here, and I would love to show you how I won them all over. Come on out to meet me, I promise to bring the ball back! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!

Story
Hi there! My name is Tucker and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 2 year old, Male, Husky/Smooth Collie Mix who came to SB Humane in search of a home to call my own. My personality is just as pawsome as my handsome face. I have the steely blue eyes of a movie star, and I use them to make sure I get all the good treats. I am very friendly with dogs and people. I would do best in an active home who is willing to make sure I keep up to date on my good boy manners. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. Story
Meet Coco!Coco is a sweet 4-month-old Husky mix with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart. She hasn’t had much human socialization in her early life, so the big world still feels a little scary to her — but one thing is absolutely clear: she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.Despite her fears, Coco is blossoming in her foster home. Every day she shows a little more curiosity, a little more bravery, and a lot of sweetness. What truly helps her shine is the company of other dogs. Coco adores friendly, confident canine companions, and being around a calm, self-assured dog gives her comfort and helps her learn that new experiences (and people!) can be safe and fun.Coco is looking for a patient, loving forever family who understands that shy puppies need time and gentle guidance. A home with another well-mannered dog would be a huge gift for her and will be the key to helping her continue growing into the happy, secure pup she’s meant to be.If you have a kind heart, a calm home, and a dog who wouldn’t mind being a mentor, Coco may be the perfect match. She’s already making beautiful progress — now she just needs her forever humans to help her continue her journey.
