While other dogs have gotten to experience Doggy Day Outs, sleepovers, and foster homes, Kyle is still waiting for his very first chance to see what life beyond the kennel is like.Despite it all, Kyle remains hopeful.One thing that makes shelter life a little brighter is his best friend, Princess, a sweet medium-sized white dog who keeps him company. The two love spending time together, reminding us that even in the hardest places, friendships can bloom.But what Kyle really dreams about isn`t another day in the play yard—it`s a home.He dreams of stretching out on a cozy rug after a long walk. Of curling up on the couch while a summer movie plays in the background. Of finally knowing what it feels like to spend the night indoors, safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people who love him. Hello! My name is Tundra, and I'm available for adoption at Santa Barbara Humane's Santa Maria Campus! Tundra is a mid-aged female Husky who loves to play, run, and enjoy plenty of yardtime. She's very friendly, talkative, and enjoys socializing with other K9 friends. Tundra loves fetch and is always ready for outdoor fun. If you're looking for an energetic, affectionate companion who loves to stay active and make new friends, Tundra might be the perfect addition to your family! Like all animals at Santa Barbara Humane, before going home I will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped​. My adoption also includes a complimentary post-adoption health exam with a participating local veterinary clinic as well as a supply of Hill's Science Diet food to help make my first few days at home a little easier. If you're ready to welcome me or another animal into your family, stop by during adoption hours—daily from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Wednesdays. No ​appointment or advance notice is ​r​equired! Need to pick up a few essentials before heading home? Visit the retail center at either Santa Barbara Humane campus, where you'll find toys, treats, collars, leashes, and more at competitive prices.
