Daggett

Husky

Male, 3 yrs 2 mos
Lake Tahoe, CA
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Beautiful and friendly Daggett was saved from euthanasia and is looking for a qualified adopter or foster home. Daggett has recently been neutered and is hoping to find a devoted and husky-savvy person or family with older children. Daggett is being boarded at a training facility in Lake Tahoe, where he is gaining weight and confidence, and receiving training. Daggett is high energy, and wants very much to see other dogs. He seems fine with female dogs and walks nicely with another large male, but plays exuberantly. Daggett loves chasing a ball, and will bring it back over and over-he even tries to play ball while you are driving by dropping a ball on the console! He rides well in cars and is crate-trained. Daggett is a diamond in the rough, extremely smart and motivated by affection and food. With the right environment he could be the dog of a lifetime. Daggett will require an experienced and active home, without small children or cats (untested but assume this would not be a good combination as he wants to chase birds and squirrels)

Story
I’m Harmony—your four-legged bundle of opinions and tail wags! I`m a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got plenty to say about how things should be done (starting with more treats and longer walks, thank you very much). Adventure? Oh, I’m always ready. Whether it’s sniffing out the best trails, chasing the wind, or discovering new smells that make my tail spin like a helicopter, I’m your go-to pup for excitement. Life’s too short for boring days, so grab that leash and let’s make some memories!

Daisy and Alice ( yes they are siblings) we're dumped in a high kill shelter in southern California, starving and neglected. We rescued them, took care of all of their veterinary needs and brought them up here to the Truckee Tahoe area to search for a loving home. These girls are still babies at 8 months old, are super sweet and get along great with all other dogs and kids. We can drive them to meet and greet! Please call the rescue at (xxx) xxx-xxxx if you are interested in adopting one or both of these ladies!
