Story
Jax is a very sweet, playful, goofy & smart boy. He has quickly picked up commands like sit, lay down, stay, kennel, & gentle (when giving post-dinner dental treats). Jax is a 1.5yr old Husky-German Shepherd mix and was adopted from a Sacramento shelter in late Sept. in hopes to be a companion for our 3yr old German Shepherd. Upon adopting, we quickly found out he guarded food and toys. He was also severely emaciated. Since September, he has gone from 60lbs to approximately 75lbs, has been potty trained, and has slowly gotten better with resource guarding, but continues to do so. He plays well with other dogs in a park setting and at home, however he would best thrive in a home as a sole dog due to the guarding. He doesn’t do well with cats. He spends time in his kennel when we are away, as he’s a pup and can be destructive if alone. He does very well in his kennel and would best thrive in a place with a fenced yard, as he’s still learning recall. He’s a very sweet boy♥️

Story
I’m Harmony—your four-legged bundle of opinions and tail wags! I`m a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’ve got plenty to say about how things should be done (starting with more treats and longer walks, thank you very much). Adventure? Oh, I’m always ready. Whether it’s sniffing out the best trails, chasing the wind, or discovering new smells that make my tail spin like a helicopter, I’m your go-to pup for excitement. Life’s too short for boring days, so grab that leash and let’s make some memories!

Story
I’m Sarge. I look big and tough, but I’m really a shy guy. When I meet someone new, I get nervous and might let out a little growl while I figure you out. I don’t mean anything by it — I just need a moment. I can be a bit mouthy, too, giving soft little nibbles or gentle grabs when I’m unsure or excited. It’s just how I check things out. Give me a treat and a little time, and I start to warm up fast. Then the wiggles come out. I get bouncy, happy, and ready to follow you everywhere just to stay close. I make tiny huffs when I’m unsure and big, content sighs when I settle in. At the end of the day, I’m a friendly, affectionate dog who warms up slow, loves hard, play hard, and has plenty of high-energy joy once I trust you.

Story
Meet Aspen 🤍 About 1 year old • Reno, NV • Gentle Soul • Needs a Patient, Loving Home Aspen is a soft, tender-hearted boy who has known more fear than comfort in his young life — but even still, his sweetness shines through. He is about a year old and carries a quiet, gentle spirit that will absolutely blossom in the right home. Aspen is very shy with new people and new situations. He needs someone who understands that trust takes time — someone who will move slowly, speak softly, and show him that love is safe. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body; he simply needs reassurance, routine, and patience. Around other dogs, Aspen feels more confident and secure, so a home with another friendly, calm dog would be wonderful for him. He watches other dogs for cues, and their presence helps him step forward in tiny, brave ways. Aspen is: ~1 year old Very shy with people Gentle, sweet, and sensitive Comforted by other dogs Looking for a quiet, steady, loving home Ready for someone who believes in him 🕊️ Aspen’s love won’t come all at once — it will unfold slowly, beautifully, and honestly. When he finally lays his head in your lap and sighs that deep, trusting sigh… it will mean everything. If you are the kind of person who loves softly, patiently, and deeply — Aspen is waiting for you.
