Story
Juno is a beautiful 6 month old female Husky who has a sweet personality and is hoping to find her forever home. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Juno loves to play with other dogs and is good with kids. She weighs 38 pounds and loves to run so she would do best with a fenced yard. Juno will make an excellent companion, a great running partner or gentle family member. We are located in Palm City, FL and adopt in our area. Please apply on our website at www.nalasrescue.org Please note: A 6-month-old purebred Husky is a beautiful, intelligent, and high-energy companion—but this breed is not for everyone. Huskies are working dogs with strong exercise and mental stimulation needs; without daily activity and engagement, they can become restless and mischievous. At this young age, they require structured training, patience, and consistent socialization to grow into well-behaved adults. Their thick double coats also demand regular grooming, and they thrive best in homes that understand their endurance and spirited nature. If you’re ready for a loyal, adventurous, and active friend, this Husky puppy could be the perfect match—just be prepared for the commitment such a vibrant breed deserves.

Story
Hi… I’m Bear 🐾Yes, Bear — and it fits. I’m strong, I’ve survived a lot, and I’m still loving people anyway.I was born in a foster home with H.A.L.O. Animal Rescue back in 2019 and adopted as a puppy. I thought that was forever. But I was rehomed… and then rehomed again. Eventually, Humane Society called to say I’d been surrendered as an “owner-requested euthanasia” because I was having accidents in the house. But here’s the thing — euthanasia was NOT the answer. I deserved help, not goodbye. And HALO made sure I got my second chance.I’m a Husky mix with the classic quirks: I walk nicely on leash, don’t bark much, but will give you a proper Husky howl now and then. I’ve seemed a little subdued in my kennel (it’s been a lot of change for one girl), but I think my real personality is just waiting for stability to shine again.I’m long-legged and gorgeous. I tested well with cats. With other dogs, I may be selective — so I’d do best as your one-and-only or with patient, thoughtful introductions. My handlers are hopeful that with a little bit of training and exposure, that I may play nicer with others in time! I likely know my house manners and just need consistency and commitment.I’m not a “for now” dog.I’m a “forever” dog.Love,Bear 🐺Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Our piebald husky Cora is looking for an active and loving forever home! We were told from the shelter that she is 3, but we definitely think she is around 1-2 years old as her teeth are extremely white and she has endless puppy energy. We saved her from pbacc and we are so glad we did! Cora is a high energy girl and she is a social butterfly. She gets along great with other dogs, and she is super affectionate with people! She came to us urine stained and knowing no commands and boundaries. Now, she is learning how to sit on command as well as boundaries. Cora is a big cuddler, she will sleep in your bed and she is very loyal to humans! She would do great with a higher energy dog in the home, and we also think she would make a great solo dog, as she cares for human companionship. Once she bonds with you, she will follow you everywhere. Cora is a husky who is always up for an adventure. She is great in the car, she walks well on a leash, and she is super well behaved out in public. If you’re looking for a companion to brijg everywhere with you, then Cora is it! She is potty trained, non destructive, and she is a well behaved girl! She has a little heart spot on her back, which reflects how big her heart and love is for humans. Piebalds are so special and they truly have fantastic family dog temperaments. Anyone would be lucky to add Cora to their home!

Story
Moon is a 2 year old husky and he is such a sweet boy! He does great with other dogs, kid friendly, and he is also cat friendly! Moon is potty trained and non destructive when left home alone, so he does not need to be crated. He loves to play tug of war with his foster sibling, and he has no issues sharing toys with other dogs in the home! He is a petite boy weighing only 45lbs, so he would be a great travel companion. He is an excellent boy in the car, and he is very well behaved out in public. He knows all of his basic commands, and he is a good listener! Moon is super affectionate with people, and he is a big cuddler! Moon would do great with another dog in the home his size, or he would also be fine as a solo dog as long as he is properly exercised! Moon loves long walks, and he does great tricks for treats! Moon is a well mannered boy, so we know a loving family is out there for him!! His past owners gave him up due to being an escape artist and getting out often, therefore we really need a secured fenced in backyard for him! We also approve adopters with no fence if you have husky experience and live an active lifestyle! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, he is on heartworm & flea prevention, and he is microchipped for life! He is being fostered in the Ft Lauderdale area, but we adopt anywhere in Florida!

Story
Please welcome Frost to our rescue! We just saved Frost from our local shelter PBACC. He is 5 years old, and poor guy is in rough shape. He is underweight, super smelly, and he likely has an old injury in his back leg making his back paw buckle. Luckily, his back paw does not bother him and he has likely been living with it for a while, and he walks around just fine. He saw our vet at as we wanted to get him seen asap, and they believe it is a tendon issue, which sadly if thats the case nothing can be done to correct it. Since his paw does not seem to bother him, and it like he has adjusted to walking with it! He may just be a special guy with a deformity, but we know a special home is out there for him that can look past it. Frost is a wooly husky and he is a good boy. He is super sweet with people, dog friendly, and he is lower energy and has a chill personality ! He is fully potty trained and he walks well on a leash. He is a very vocal guy who loves to WOO. He LOVES to be outside, so a fenced in backyard is an absolute MUST for him. Frost is on the lower energy side for a husky and he while he does love the companionship of other dogs, he is not a super rough player. He does good with dogs of all sizes! He is great in the car and he is just a big bear. Frost deserves a loving home who will properly care for him!
