Story
Meet Onyx, a big-bodied, goofy-hearted Husky who is living proof that "lap dog" is a state of mind, not a size. This talkative guy has plenty to say and won’t hesitate to woo-woo his way into your heart—especially if you have a treat in your hand. A true water enthusiast and a bit of a Houdini-style escape artist, Onyx is a high-energy Doggy Date candidate who is just as happy splashing in a creek as he is being your personal 80-pound cuddlebug. While he’s mastered his basic commands, he’s a "PG-13" kind of pup who requires older children and an experienced handler ready to continue his training and manage his strong prey drive. Because Onyx prefers to be the center of your universe, he’s looking to be your only best friend with 4 legs in the home - strictly feline-free and away from farm animals. He’s a bit of a toy connoisseur and prefers not to share his treasures, so he’s best may be best suited as your one-and-only pet or with someone willing to work on his tendency to guard his toys like a dragon with his treasures. Though he’s house-trained and ready for a sleepover trial, he’ll need a secure environment to keep his inner escape artist in check. He was a velociraptor in a former life and likes to test the fence perimeter security, and can jump over anything lower than 6 feet. If you’re looking for a loyal, vocal, and hilarious companion to fill your home with personality, Onyx is ready to clock in as your new best friend.

Story
EXERCISE NEEDS: Daily Workout EASE OF TRAINING: Eager FRIENDLINESS WITH PEOPLE: Loves Everyone PLAYFULNESS: Semi-Pro FRIENDLINESS WITH DOGS: Selective LEASH MANNERS: Pulls Often Lily is a high-octane "wiggle butt" who brings pure joy and a whole lot of energy to every situation. This sweet girl is the definition of a loyal companion, constantly checking back during playtime to make sure her favorite human is still right by her side. She is a total athlete with a deep-seated love for tennis balls and toys of all kinds, making her the perfect partner for anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle and a good game of fetch in the yard. Because Lily is both food and toy motivated, she is an absolute star when it comes to training. She already knows her basic commands and is eager to show them off for a tasty treat. While she’s shown great potential for being house-trained, her "high-velocity" personality means she’s best suited for a home that can provide her with plenty of mental and physical outlets to channel her zoomies. Though Lily used to be quite the social butterfly, the hustle and bustle of kennel life has made her a bit more selective about her canine companions lately. She still loves to play, but she’d appreciate a family that understands she’s become a little more "choosy" about her friends. If you’re looking for a sweet, toy-obsessed best friend who will literally wiggle with excitement every time you walk through the door, Lily is ready to bring her heart into your home.

Story
Luna was born December 20, 2024. A friend of mine from high school was fostering her mom. My friend was about to be homeless so we took in the last 2 puppies for her. We were hoping to keep them but they fight so much it is dangerous. The other puppy needed to have 4 staples. Luna is a lovable, sweet, and protective dog. She loves to cuddle. She would be best suited in a calm environment as she can get very anxious. She loves belly rubs, and lots of attention. It breaks my heart we have to find a new home for her. It is not safe, or fair for either dog for us to keep her. She had improved behavior with my kids, and is ok with some dogs. She has been around cats when she was first born and was ok with them. Adoption fee to make sure goes to safe and loving home, and transfer microchip
