Story
I got Jack from the animal shelter almost 2 years ago now due to my new career path and moving status I’m trying to find him a good home. He’s a little aggressive with small dogs or puppies. He is good with cats once they acclimate. He can run free at the dog park if the dogs don’t approach him too fast. He’s a great dog just needs more space and a better home.

Story
I adopted Bella as a puppy late 2019 while I was living in Washington state. I drove four hours to Yakima to meet her and immediately fell in love. Bella has beautiful brown eyes and a very sweet, loving spirit. She loves being pet (very much) and long walks. Bella can be very energetic when she’s outside but when she’s indoors she loves to relax. She has a very playful spirit and her joy is infectious. Bella was born September 13, 2019. Lately, my life has been extremely busy, and I have not had the time nor the resources to give Bella the life that she deserves, and I am hoping that she will find a family or a home that will be able to take care of her and give her the life that she’s worthy of.

Story
Maya is 7 years old. She’s crate trained, potty trained and when convenient she is also pad trained. She has a lot of energy and still acts like a puppy, she’s super healthy has no health issues and has her shots up to date. I’m looking to rehome her due to the lack of time I have for her. I would like to find her a home where she will have the attention she needs and has all the love and care that I’ve given her since I’ve had her. She’s great company and has the funniest personality, she’s definitely a great dog to have.

Kida is a great dog. However, with me being a flight attendant and my girlfriend being a property manager we just aren't home enough. She is loving and full of energy and we wish we had a yard for her to run around and burn it all off.

Story
Star is fostered in CA. Star is great with dogs, but having energy can play excitedly and may not be a fit for puppies or elderly dogs. Star is a gorgeous girl with brains and energy to match! She might be blind, but that doesn’t slow her down at all. She navigates just fine and all the important things (food, sniffy walks, petting) don’t require sight. Star also had a couple of seizures, which the vet is calling idiopathic epilepsy since no other cause was found in testing, so she takes Keppra and that has prevented any more episodes. She has already learned a lot of words, including: focus, sit, step, and walking. Given her puppy energy level, she would love to be in a home with another dog her size or bigger and no small children or cats. Star *loves* meeting new people and dogs, exploring her environment, eating, walking, and snoozing in her crate or in the car. She is still learning to be the best dog, but she is a quick study. She needs a family experienced with Huskies or similar breeds who are willing to continue her education. If you are active and ready for an energetic beauty, contact us to learn more about Star! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Hi! I'm Pretzel! Wanna know how I got my name? Me too! I don't think I look like a pretzel. I do know I would probably eat a few if given the chance. Who doesn't like warm yummy pretzels? Anyways, I am 3 years old, and boy am I handsome. I am a lover of adventure, and all things excite me. I am learning how to walk on a leash and have some manners. A bit of a wild child but nothing rare on a husky. You see there is too much to see and do, and I want to see and do it all! I am a super smart dog and know lots of commands. My favorite things are belly rubs and spending time with my family. I could lie down all night getting all the love and attention. I love my humans, and love being part of a family. Because I am still learning all things, I would do better in a home with older kids, little ones I might knock over. I do okay with submissive dogs but do great as an only dog. I do have some prey drive, therefore a home with no cats. ! I am housebroken, crate trained (sleep all night in there), neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines. I am ready to go, how about you? “How is it possible that out of all the dogs in the world, the best ones are rescues?” – Anonymous

Story
Hi, I’m Binx and I’m the happiest 3-year-old husky you’ll ever meet! Famous for my wide, mega-watt smile, I also make my foster mom and everyone I meet smile. If YOU look at all of my photos, you’ll soon be smiling too. I LOVE my foster family, spending as much time with them as I can while they tell me about their day. I also love coming up to them and putting my paws up in the air for hugs. They’ve affectionately dubbed me their “hugger teddy bear.” I also LOVE other dogs, running and playing with them in the backyard and burning off all of our excess husky energy. And speaking of energy, I LOVE LOVE LOVE feeling the energy of the sun’s warm rays on my face.   Extremely intelligent, eager to learn and to please, I am sometimes too smart: I know how to open and close the doors. All I need is some guidance and I’ll soon know better. With much to learn and much love to share, I promise to shine my mega-watt smile forever on the loving family that makes me theirs.   I am housebroken, microchipped, neutered, up to date on all of my shots, and at work on my crate training.

Story
Hi! I'm Simba! Not the carefree lion you might know, but I'm the cute and cuddly husky you will want to know! What's better than that? I'm available for adoption! Yes! You have the opportunity to get your very own Simba! (Or whatever it is you will want to name me - I don't really care, I just want you!). I am fantastic on a leash, not food aggressive and even better - I don't destroy things...like your house as I've heard some others have been known to do. I am the most laid back and chill boy you will ever meet. I just want to be with my humans and chill. I get along with all the doggos and am the perfect gentleman. I am housebroken, crate trained, up to date on my shots, micro chipped and neutered. All I need is you! “A dog is not a thing. A thing is replaceable. A dog is not. A thing is disposable. A dog is not. A thing doesn’t have a heart. A dog’s heart is bigger than any ‘thing’ you can ever own.” – Elizabeth Parker
