Meet Freya ❤️ Freya is a beautiful, approximately 3-year-old Husky mix who came into our lives unexpectedly about a year ago after she was dumped in a coworker's yard (Columbia county). Freya is an affectionate, intelligent, extremely energetic dog who loves attention, toys, treats, and being around people. She has a goofy personality and an enormous amount of energy. She has completed an intensive 8-week live-in professional training program and is very food motivated and eager to engage with people. She knows several basic commands. Our home is not the right environment for Freya to thrive. She is a very strong and high-energy dog, and despite our efforts with training, she remains difficult for our school-age children to physically manage safely. She would thrive with an experienced owner who is comfortable handling a high-energy dog, and doesn't have very small dogs or cats that could be injured by roughhousing with a large dog.

Breea showed up one day and made her home on our back porch. She was matted to the skin, our vet decided that shaving her was best. Her fur is still in the process of growing out. They say she looks around a year old. Also believe she is a full blooded a Siberian husky We had her sprayed and shots are updated.She is a lovable dog, just too much for me to handle. Loves tummy rubs. I believe she can be very trainable with someone who can spend the time training her. Rides very well in the car, walks good on leash. She wants to jump up on you and I’ve tried to break this without success.I’m 68 and I believe she needs someone younger and stronger. I want someone that will give her the time and attention she needs.

Ash is a 9 month old Husky who showed up in someone's yard. The person could not keep Ash and brought him to the shelter. He is such a sweet, friendly boy with a good temperament. He gets along with everyone, including children and other dog. We can test with cats if you need us to. He is up to date with his shots, dewormed , heartworm negative and we will neuter and chip him.
