Our adoptions are done by approved applications, so you must apply and be approved before being able to meet any of our dogs or puppies. To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Wants to be best friends with everyone she meets- Loves pets once she feels comfortable - Foster family has affectionately nicknamed her "Ferret" because she is long and skinny and jumps in their laps like a ferret - Knows sit and loves to learn, especially if you have treats - Does well in her crate while her foster family is away - Can be a little nervous on car rides and may move around in the car - Will do best in a home with a tall fence and may do best on a leash while in the yard - Has done well around other dogs in her foster home and likes to play, but may be unsure of some dogs (dog intro recommended) - Has lived with children in her foster home - Has lived with cats in her foster home; foster family says she occasionally chases them but mostly just wants to look - May do best in a home with no small pets This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program.
