Story
Luna is a pretty girl looking for a forever home. She is a two-year-old beautiful husky. She is very sweet but a little on the timid side until she gets warmed up to you. She is spayed and current on all shots and preventions. I would prefer she go to a cooler northern environment. Luna gets along very well with others, she has the pack mentality. She is very loyal and loving. She loves to run and play with the others in her pack. She has not shown aggressive behaviors. She would do well with older children and other pets. Not so sure about cats. She is very, very smart. I would recommend her as a good family pet. Saved from a high-kill shelter by another rescue only to wind up in another shelter when that rescue left her in boarding in an Alabama warehouse for an extensive period. He arrived alongside another Husky after their owner had to make the difficult decision to surrender them due to a move. Despite the change, Nanuk has remained calm, affectionate, and eager to connect with new people.He’s a well-mannered boy who is both housebroken and crate trained, and he already knows how to sit on command. Nanuk thrives on companionship and would do best in a home with another large breed dog to keep him company—he truly enjoys having a canine friend by his side.Nanuk is great with older kids and has a soft spot for being brushed, happily soaking up the attention during grooming time. He is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease, but his prognosis is very positive, and he’s expected to make a full recovery.With his striking looks, sweet personality, and loving nature, Nanuk is ready to find a home where he can feel safe, cherished, and never alone again.
