Meet Roxy! ????This beautiful 5-year-old Husky mix may have arrived as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past—but we’re learning more about her sweet personality every day! What we do know is that Roxy is a sweet, calm, and wonderfully laid-back girl. At around 50 pounds, she’s a great size and seems perfectly content just hanging out and enjoying some quality time with her people.Roxy is currently living with other dogs and has been doing great with her canine friends! ???? We haven’t had the opportunity to see how she feels about cats yet, so that part of her personality is still a mystery.Roxy is the kind of girl who doesn’t need a lot of excitement to be happy. She’s simply looking for someone who will give her a safe, loving home where she can relax, enjoy some companionship, and finally know what it feels like to belong. She will be ready to go home once she is spayed, so don’t wait to come meet this sweet girl!Roxy may not have come to us with a history, but we’re hoping her next chapter will be the one where she finds her forever family. ????

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
House trained, can leave for long hours and won't have accidents or destroy the house. She is used to being around older kids, so a home with teens should be fine. Babies, toddlers and active younger kids make her nervous. She tolerated a cat a few years ago, but not sure if she will now that she is older. She has to be the only dog, preferably the only animal. She loves salty snacks: saltines, tortilla chips, etc. and she loves sweets. She can be outside and you open up something with sugar and she can smell it! And will let you know she is ready to come inside and share it with ya, LOL! She would love nothing more than to lay on the couch with ya and watch tv, but she also would love you playing with her rope too. Our circumstances have changed and we are now gone from the house 4 to 5 days a week, and just don't have the time to give her the love and attention she deserves.

Story
Meet Qwen! ????Qwen may not be the first dog to run up and introduce himself, but give this sweet boy a little time and I promise—you’re going to fall in love!Qwen is a 1.5-year-old Husky/Australian Shepherd mix who came to us very shut down and unsure of his new surroundings. But after being introduced to some dog friends, we’ve watched him come out of his shell more and more every day! Having canine companions around has really helped his confidence, and he’s shown us what a sweet, playful boy he can be.Qwen is housebroken and crate trained, and he does well with other dogs. He is curious and pretty indifferent when it comes to cats. He does well with older kids, but the unpredictable energy of toddlers in their wild toddler stage can make him a little nervous, so an older-kid household would likely be the best fit. This smart boy already knows sit and stay and is almost there with shake! He is VERY treat motivated, which should make teaching him new things a whole lot of fun. And when he’s not working for treats, he loves playing with his toys!Qwen will probably need a little time to warm up to his new person. He isn’t going to immediately act like you’re his long-lost best friend—but once he trusts you and lets that personality come out, he will absolutely steal your heart. ??He’s looking for someone who understands that the best relationships take a little patience. Give Qwen some time, some treats, a few toys, and a safe place to feel comfortable, and you may just end up with the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for.Qwen is ready to find the person who will give him the chance to truly blossom. Could that person be you? ????
