Story
This handsome fella is Arthur, a 3 year old Husky with a heart of gold. Arthur’s a pretty shy guy, as he was not regularly meeting strangers or other dogs in his previous home. He can be worried and uncertain of the world around him, but with patience and a gentle approach to training, he is learning that the world is not so scary. Arthur is looking for an adopter who can help him continue to grow and learn in a calm, low-traffic environment, meaning not a lot of activity, cars, or people coming and going. He is still working on becoming housetrained and on refining some of his manners, but has made some really great progress with his leash walking skills using positive reinforcement training!(Arthur loves snacks and is very smart, so he`s a great training buddy!). Arthur does best with slower introductions to neutral dog friends, so he could potentially go to a home with a mellower dog to help show him the ropes. Given patience and time to settle in at his own pace, Arthur is sure to reward you with endless love and loyalty. Come on down to learn more about him today!

Meet Iris! 🌸Hii! This pretty girl's name is Iris, and she is looking for her perfect forever home.Iris is the absolute sweetest girl. She is fully potty trained and will only bark to let you know she needs to go outside. She is also beautifully crate trained and will happily sleep soundly in her crate the entire night.Iris is purely motivated by affection! She loves belly rubs so much that she gives the softest, cutest little love-nibbles when she's happy.Because she is a typical enthusiastic Husky, she still jumps up to greet you when she's excited. We are working on this training, but because of her size and bouncy energy, she would do best in a home without very young children. She comes with a complete starter pack to make her transition easy:Large wire crateCurrent food & fav treatsToysFlea collar + preventative medicationsVet & recent vaccine recordsgrooming gearseatbelt+car coverIris would do amazing in an active home, big yard and secure 5Ft+ fencing with lots of walks

Story
Meet Glacia! This gorgeous lady is a two year old husky mix with the most STUNNING eyes...even when she's judging every life choice that you have ever made, that your ancestors have ever made, and that your children will ever make (as seen in photo #3). She's a sturdy girl at about 57lbs so not TOO big.Glacia's passions include hanging out with her people and having the absolute BEST manners on her walks. She's very polite on a leash and barely pulls and she's super, SUPER smart - she listens to corrections, comes when called, and knows her basics. She's content to just plop herself between your feet and soak up some love - she hasn't shown to be TOO high energy but can be prone to zoomies like any dog.Glacia seems to be selective with other dogs - she is not aggressive but is very uncertain and definitely would not do well with a dog that wants to be up in her face right off the bat. She may be fine with the right dog after a few meet and greets here at the shelter and a long, slow introduction...or she may do best as the only dog. She hasn't shown any red flags with cats - one of our cats hissed at her and she immediately turned around and left like, nope, not today. Kids 12+ simply because we don't have much of a history on her.If you aren't deterred by the occasional intense case of RBF and you're looking for a smart, gorgeous stunner - Glacia is your girl!To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Story
We acquired Blue from a Boston based breeder 8 years ago as a puppy. He is a friendly low maintenance dog, he has been an emotional support animal for my special needs son as well. He loves walks and outside time. He likes other animals and always open to playing. We would like to see Blue end up with a family that can bring him into their lives with open arms, we are a working family so he is capable of staying home alone for periods of time. He loves rubs and attention. He is used to being with kids as well. He does not “talk” like some husky’s and never barks. Aside from the shedding he is very low maintenance. He is crate trained and pad trained, he has been house trained at one point but reverted back about 1yr ago. So I believe with the right family he can be retrained.
