This handsome fellow is Cisco, a 7 year old husky that`s ready to be the star of the show in his new home! Like many huskies, Cisco can sometimes be dramatic, quirky, vocal (he has a great singing voice!), and a little picky about his friends. Cisco loves sniffy walks, and once he gets to know you, he loves a good shoulder rub! Cisco was primarily living outdoors in his previous home, and likely has limited experience actually living indoors, so he is looking to go home to an adopter that is ready to help him adjust to this new lifestyle. As a sensitive pup that has been through quite a few transitions recently, he can sometimes be fearful in new or busy environments, so Cisco would do best in a quiet, predictable home with adopters who will let him settle in at his own pace. Cisco may be able to go home with a well-matched dog friend (we would recommend a dog meet on-campus as a part of his adoption process!). He has no history with cats, but could possibly go home with a dog-savvy cat with full separation to start and a slow introduction. If you`re thinking of adding a little music to your life, then come on down to meet Cisco!

Story
Here’s 4 year old Maverick, the sweetest love bug& best hugger. Maverick has found his way to me after his family had to downsize due to the stress of the current state of the world. In an emergency rehoming this family found themselves with nowhere for Maverick to go & I took him in until I can find him a forever home that will give him the love he deserves. He doesn’t bark or howl (will let out some sounds in a good game of tug of war) he is not your typical husky in the sense that he is just so quiet and cuddly. Having had a husky in the past I can say he definitely has a do it my way attitude but can make up for it in belly rubs and funny faces. He loves a good rope and a stuffy even more. Unfortunately my cats are not adjusting well to him and they won’t come out to eat. Having a pup in the house already with established dominance has made it hard for his transition but we know he is so loving & unbothered. He is the best boy and sweetest& will make someone’s family so happy.
