Story
Want your heart to sing? Lark is aptly named and would love to soar into your home! Lark came in as a stray with a significant leg injury which required her to have one leg amputated. She may appear worried at first, but with enough care warms up quickly. Like any puppy she is looking for an adopter who can help her learn to be the best dog that she can be. Lark has met dogs in the shelter and could likely do well with another confident, calm role model dog to also help her along.

Akila is a wise pup coming into her own and looking to pen next chapter. Akila is described as loving people including kids. She might take some time to make dog friends but when comfortable would love for nothing more than a playmate. Akila would do well in a home where she could have limited time alone. Story
We got him since he was a puppy has lived with us ever since. Fire is only 4 years old he has lived with an older dog majority of his life. He gets claustrophobic in areas but is very joyful and loves to have attention. He’s also a very curious puppy and can get scared at little things and noises.

Story
She’s is a great dog with just don’t have time to take care of her I’m at work 10 hours a day and she’s a puppy so she not suppose to rome the house alone and I live with my mom and a cat the cat is mean to her so my mom doesn’t let her downstairs when I’m not home so I have to leave her in her crate and she soils her crate if I’m gone for over 4 hours and I just don’t want her to live like this it’s not fair as much as this will hurt both of us I will pay for the rest of her shots so she’s is good in that aspect I only put a price because she means something to me and I want her to go somewhere where she means something to them and you can’t really put a price tag on that typa stuff but this will make me feel better price is negotiable

Story
We are writing because we urgently need help finding a safe, loving home for our dog. My husband and I are being forced to move to housing that does not allow pets under any circumstances. Despite our efforts, we have been unable to find another affordable place that accepts dogs. We have also reached out to family and friends, but unfortunately no one is able to take her. She is a Husky Bully (a Siberian Husky/Pocket American Bully mix). She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of energy. She loves meeting new people and has never shown any aggression toward people, although she sometimes jumps when excited because she does not realize how big she is. She has not always done well with other dogs and is not spayed; however, she has never bitten a person or another dog. This decision is absolutely heartbreaking for us because we love her very much. We know she deserves a family with the time, space, and resources to provide her the life she deserves.

Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Posey! Millie is approximately 5 months old, 20 lbs currently, and she may have some husky in her mix! She was found as a stray and taken in by a Good Samaritan. In her foster home, she is still new to all of her important life skills so she will need a family who is ready to commit to continuing her positive reinforcement training. Puppy classes will be a must! She could join households with other playful dogs, kids 5+ and possibly dog-savvy cats (may chase). Her foster says, `Posey is one of the sweetest most loving girls. She loves people, kids and attention. She will make a wonderful loving member to any family. She is so smart and silly, not to mention absolutely beautiful. She is ready to findher own family and so much love to give. Someone is going to be very blessed to add her to their home.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on September 11, or possibly earlier. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
