Story
Shadow is a handsome Husky mix with a wagging tail and a big personality to match! This social boy loves spending time with people and is always excited to make new friends. If you sit down on the couch, don’t be surprised if Shadow hops right up to join you—he’s a big fan of cuddling and soaking up all the pets and attention he can get. Shadow’s tail is almost always wagging, especially when he’s getting belly rubs (one of his absolute favorite things!). He’s a happy, affectionate dog who enjoys being close to his people and would love a home where he can relax, play, and be part of the family. Like many active pups, Shadow enjoys chewing on his toys, so having plenty of fun and durable toys around will help keep him busy and happy. Enrichment and playtime will go a long way in helping this smart boy stay entertained. Shadow would do best in a home with teens or older. He can get a little grumbly if someone touches his food or if another dog tries to take it, but don’t worry—our team will happily work with his adopters to create a plan that sets everyone up for success and helps Shadow feel comfortable and secure. Shadow has shown interest in meeting other dogs, but we do require meet-and-greets with any resident dogs in the home before adoption to make sure everyone gets along. If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who loves couch time just as much as playtime, Shadow might be the perfect match for you! Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. Story
Meet Bluey! This little catch is a two year old male neutered Husky/Shepard mix. He's up to date on his rabies vaccine and just under 50lbs. After his family was displaced long term from a house fire he is in need of a new loving home. Bluey is a fun and incredibly sweet. He just wants to be around his people. His signature move is to plop to the ground and roll on his back for belly scritchies. Car rides and hikes/long walks are his favorite. He loves to run and be with his people. After some exercise he is happy cuddling up with his human or lounging on the couch.Bluey has been great with my crazy toddler. He's gentle and patient. Bluey will do best in a home that can give him the exercise he needs. He is a med-high energy dog that will thrive with exercise and structure. He is house-trained and walks well on leash. We are working on commands. Due to his breed, he shows prey drive, stubbornness, and some mouthy behaviors. If you or anyone you know would like to know more reach out.

Story
Zoey is a lovable pomsky. She is a great dog. She does have some issues. She has separation anxiety only when you separate her in the house. She likes to be with you when you are home. If She is locked out of a room you are in she may make a mess (pee or poop). She also does not like cats. We didnt know this when we adopted her and she went after our kitten. The kitten is safe but we cant home her here any longer. She would fit a home with only people or with dogs. She gets along with our other 2 dogs but just does not like cats. She loves walks and adores time with you. She will be a loyal and fun pet. She is house trained and is fine if left at home alone so long as she knows you have left, that has been our experience anyway. We were unable to get her vet records from past owner and she went after our kitten before we made an apointment however we would be willing to get her rabies done. Thank you.
