Story
MEET ORCA!Orca is the sweetest girl who wants nothing more than to spend the day at her human’s side. While she is fearful of new experiences, she is a very brave girl and adapts quickly. She is friendly to all but is somewhat fearful of dogs that are bigger than her. Orca is potty trained and will let you know when it’s time to go outside. Orca loves a long walk but is just as happy cuddling up in bed together. Most of all, she just loves to both give and receive love. My friends describe me as: Shy, Affectionate, GentleOrca is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Orca or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Story
Meet Arthur, a 3 year old Husky with a heart full of potential. We have limited history on him, but know that he was living in a bubble, meaning he was not meeting strangers or other dogs, and is very fearful as a result--Arthur can be shy and uncertain of the world around him, but with patience and gentle guidance, he is learning that the world is not so scary. As Arthur has an abnormal background, he is looking for an adopter who can offer him a calm, patient environment where he can continue to grow and learn. He will need someone who`s ready to teach him all the basics, such as housebreaking, walking on a leash, and general manners, using positive reinforcement training (Arthur loves snacks and is very smart, so he`s a great training buddy!). As Arthur is worried and has a lot he`s working on, he says no thank you to living with other pets for now, please!

Story
Meet Oreo! This stunning, 60 pound boy is patiently waiting for his next adventure! He`s an absolute love bug! Ready for some adventer but mostly just being a faithful canine companion! He lived in a home since a pup and he is described as friendly and sociable to all people and other dogs (good with cats is unknown). He`s been super engaging here with our staff and volunteers and knows some basic cues like responding to his name and sit. Other than a beautiful heavy coat that will need some brushing he`s really perfect for any situation regardless of his age! Please come by our Boston location to meet this dude - he won`t dissappoint! My friends describe me as: social butterfly, sweet and snugglyOreo is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Story
Shadow is a typical high energy Husky that was adopted from a neglectful home. He's about a year old and spent the first 7 months of his life mostly crated. Shadow is a very friendly dog to people as well as other dogs, but has poor social skills that are slowly improving. The main need for rehoming is a sudden fixation on one of our cats, so I would not expect him to do well in a home with timid smaller pets. Ideally I'd like to see him in a home with space to expend his energy, possibly with other huskies as he tends to get along best with them.

Story
Sulli is a loving, energetic 3-year-old Husky looking for his forever home. He’s playful, loyal, and deeply devoted to his people. Sulli has a protective nature, which makes him a great companion, and he forms strong bonds with those he loves. He thrives with space to run and play, so a home with a large yard would be ideal for him. He has a lot of energy and would do best with an active owner or family who can give him regular exercise and attention. With two young children and another on the way, we’re no longer able to provide the space and time he deserves. Our priority is finding him a home where he can truly thrive and be happy.
