Story
Meet Davis! Davis has come such a long way from his rough beginnings. Found living outside on a chain with little human interaction, he was shy and unsure of the world. With patience and love from his foster family, Davis has blossomed into a happy, playful pup with a quirky personality and the most mesmerizing ice-blue eyes. This medium-energy boy loves romping and wrestling with his dog siblings—he’s learned so much about how to be a dog from them! Because of this, Davis would thrive in a home with other well-socialized dogs to keep teaching him and to share in playtime. He also needs a securely fenced yard where he can run, chase, and play to his heart’s content.Davis is housetrained, crate trained, and travels well in the car (though he’s still getting used to it). On leash, he can be a little timid in new situations, but he walks politely and is gaining confidence every day. He doesn’t have a history with children, and he will need a cat-free home as he shows prey drive toward small animals. While Davis is much braver than when he was first rescued, he’s still easily startled by loud noises or quick movements—so he’ll need a patient, understanding family who will give him time to adjust. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and the sweetest husky-style “talking” when he gets excited. If you’re looking for a resilient, playful, and affectionate pup who’s ready to continue his journey in a loving forever home, Davis may be the one for you.Name: DavisBreed: Husky/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 1 year  (estimated)Weight: 55 lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Treatment completed 11/25/25Microchipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: No has high prey drive.Adoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Meet Toby!Toby is ready for his next big journey, Toby is a fun-loving, adventure-seeking husky with a zest for life. Like many huskies, he’s curious, energetic, and happiest when he’s out exploring the world with his people.Toby is friendly and gentle, and does great with other dogs—he’d love a canine companion or regular playdates. He walks well on a leash, travels nicely, is house-trained, and crate trained, making him a wonderful companion both at home and on the go. Whether it’s walks, hikes, car rides, patio hangouts, or new sniffing adventures, Toby is always ready to join in.Cats, however, are a no-go for Toby. He’s genuinely terrified of them, likely due to a past experience, so a cat-free home is needed.Toby’s history includes living in a busy home with multiple children. Unfortunately, he’s also an escape artist—he cannot be left unattended in a yard, as he will find his own adventure. Because of this, he’s looking for a home where he’s truly included in daily life rather than left outside alone. An active individual or family who understands the husky lifestyle and wants to make Toby part of their adventures. He needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation to thrive—and in return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, joy, and an infectious enthusiasm for life.Toby is ready to find a home that will embrace his spirit and keep him safely by their side on every adventure.Name: TobyBreed: HuskySex: MaleAge: 3 years  (estimated)Weight: 55lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over age 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: NoAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. Story
Meet the most affectionate, playful, and curious puppies, siblings Erian, Evan, and Elysia. These babies are your typical pups that thoroughly enjoy playtime, full bellies, and lots of love. These precious ones had a heartbreaking start to life. They were found huddled together in the middle of a quiet country road, so small they were first mistaken for fallen branches and leaves. At just around six weeks old, they were covered in fleas and ticks and were desperately hungry. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time and are now safe, warm, and thriving in foster care. They start each morning with food, outdoor play, and soak up plenty of snuggles throughout the day. Because they are so young, they are highly adaptable. A household with children and/or other dogs would be a wonderful fit, as they love to play and would benefit from having companions to grow up with. Most of all, they’re looking for safe, loving family who will be dedicated to giving them immediate proper puppy training to set them up for success, support socialization, and build a strong bond with their new people. If you’re ready for all that puppy life brings, these cuties are waiting!Name: Erian Breed: Husky/ShepherdSex: Female Age: 8 weeksWeight: Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:  Mississippi Puppy Adoption Fee:  $500.00 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue.
