Story
Welcome Leia to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Leia is a 5 month old pup that is Husky/Staffordshire Terrier. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. Lia is the most shy of the 4 pack. All these pups are smart and willing to learn and work well when you train with them. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Lia is the smallest female. She is a little shy but sweet and one of the more vocal. She would warn you if someone was at the door or at the fence. She is a nice girl and since he is the smallest girl we think he will for sure be 55 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. MEET NYX When the sun goes down and the stars come out, that’s when Nyx shines brightest. This sleek, black beauty has already outrun the darkness once — now she’s chasing a forever home that can keep up. At first glance, you’ll see those ice-blue eyes and that confident stance and think, “She’s been through something.” You’d be right. Life tried to knock her down — and she just stood taller on three legs. Nyx is proof that strength doesn’t come from what you have; it comes from what you overcome. She’s a Husky/German Shepherd mix (aka Shepsky) with the perfect combo of smarts and spirit. Quick to learn, loyal to her people, and always ready for adventure — whether it’s a backyard romp or a quiet night under the stars. Nyx may be missing a leg, but don’t tell her that — she’s too busy outrunning excuses. She’s looking for a home that sees her for what she is: A survivor. A shadow with a heartbeat. A reminder that beauty and strength can share the same soul. If you’re ready for a companion who’ll never back down and always have your back, Nyx is ready to light up your world. **Meet Arson Muffin** Arson Muffin is a sweet girl… but let’s be honest—she’s definitely up to something. With her curious eyes and mischievous charm, she has a way of making you laugh while quietly plotting her next move. One thing is certain: she’s absolutely ready to light a fire in your heart. Arson Muffin was rescued as a young pup from a locked trailer, along with her 8 siblings and their incredible Husky mama who fought to keep them alive. Thanks to that strength and resilience, Arson Muffin grew into a confident, loving pup who is ready to leave her past behind for good. She is playful, affectionate, and full of personality. Arson Muffin is looking for a home where she can grow, learn, and finally be someone’s chosen one. She’s done being overlooked and is more than ready to burn bridges with waiting and move straight into her forever chapter. If you’re looking for a pup who brings love, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos, Arson Muffin is ready to meet you. Story
For all the Husky lovers out there (and teddy bear lovers) do we have the ultimate treat for you! Her name is Bailee Bandit and she'll be stealing your heart in not time. If not by her incredibly sweet personality, she'll steal your heart with those gorgeous blue eyes of hers. She's going to immediately take your breath away with them and you’ll love the way they almost sparkle in the sun. She's more than her looks though, she is incredibly smart, loves ear scratches, a chill companion, dog friendly, kid friendly, a gentle princess. Watch her video and fall in love with this beautiful heart stealer: https://youtu.be/ttatPJZrPn0?si=pyNhU28yRQJ-GvmS Bailee Bandit is believed to be a Husky mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 45 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Bailee can be a little shy at first when meeting new people but trust us when we say it does not take long for her to turn into your little shadow and lover girl. One of the ways to her heart is through treats, ear scratches, and really just quality time. Little by little, she's inching her way closer to you, politely asking for gentle pets, and next thing you know she’s nuzzling her head into you for all the love. She is the type of gal that thrives on connections with her people and once she loves and trusts you, this beauty will do anything for you. Give her a little patience in the beginning, and you'll find that you've gained your soul dog. One of the most special things about Bailee is how beautifully she does with children, even as young as four years old. She isn’t fazed by the busy energy that can come with little ones. Jumping, squealing, sudden movements, excited storytelling, Bailee handles it all with calm patience. She’s not the type to knock kids over in excitement or demand attention by jumping up. Instead, she keeps all four paws on the ground and gently leans in for affection when she’s ready. She takes treats softly and carefully from tiny hands and shows a natural understanding of how to be respectful around young children. Bailee seems to know that little humans require a softer touch, and she rises to the occasion beautifully. With a bit of time to feel comfortable, Bailee blossoms into a steady, affectionate companion who would fit wonderfully in a family home. She’s the kind of dog who brings a loving presence, the type that grows into a deeply loyal best friend. When it comes to other dogs, Bailee truly shines. She is very dog friendly and has even done beautifully with pups as small as 12 pounds. She approaches new dog friendships thoughtfully, and like many sensitive girls, she just needs a little time to feel comfortable before diving into play. Once she’s settled in, that playful Husky personality comes out in the best way. Bailee plays like a classic Husky. She’s vocal, expressive, and loves to “talk” about what’s happening. If you’re familiar with the breed, you know that happy Husky chatter is part of the fun! She especially enjoys a good game of chase and running side by side with her doggy friends. She isn’t overly into rough, physical contact play and doesn’t seek out constant wrestling. Instead, she prefers interactive movement, space to zoom, and playful back-and-forth energy. She’s also incredibly respectful of dogs who aren’t interested in playing. If another pup isn’t in the mood, Bailee reads that quickly and is perfectly content to coexist peacefully. She doesn’t pressure or pester. Bailee would do best in a home with a dog who will give her time to warm up, is comfortable with vocal play, and isn’t looking for a nonstop 24/7 playmate. A moderately playful, easygoing companion who also enjoys relaxing moments together would be her perfect match. She loves connection, but she also appreciates balance. A friend to run with and then unwind beside. Bailee is the perfect combination of affection while also being independent. She's not overly needy with her love nor does she ever overdo it. If you're someone that works from home, she'll be a great work-from-home buddy because she's not going to be constantly begging you for attention or getting into things she shouldn't be. She's the type that will come up to you when the time is right for a little ear or nose scratch, almost as if she knew you needed a five-minute break from work. As for the rest of the time, she's a window watcher and loves looking out windows, or she'll be playing with a toy. She also seems to really enjoy the outdoors and would make a great adventure partner, and we're sure she would love the snow too! Bailee isn't bouncing off the walls with energy and is an easygoing girl for the most part, but she would love the mental stimulation that comes with exploring and going on an adventure. Bailee is naturally a super smart girl and already knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and potty trained too. If you know Huskies and have experience with the breed, you know they thrive with structure, routine, and consistency. We believe Bailee would thrive with a semi-active family that has a fenced-in backyard and plenty of space for her to stretch her legs. We are willing to test Bailee Bandit with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Searching for a companion who offers all the "Husky Magic" without the marathon-runner energy? Meet Blue, the sophisticated gentleman who is ready to spend his golden years being your loyal sidekick. Watch his adoption video to see the soft, tender side of Blue that photos just can’t capture. https://youtu.be/lFjbh0cDUDw Clocking in at a manageable 34 lbs, Blue is what we like to call a "compact Husky." He has all the iconic fluff and stunning looks of the breed, but in a much more portable and chilled out package! While we think he’s a classic Siberian mix, in the world of rescue, breed is always a bit of a fun guessing game. What we do know for sure is that he’s the perfect size for car rides and easy strolls without being a "big dog" handful. Blue is a truly special soul who is finally learning that it’s okay to ask for love. While he’s a bit shy about initiating cuddles at first, you can tell he’s just waiting for an invitation to be by your side. He’s the perfect "starter Husky" for someone who loves the breed’s personality but wants a dog that’s already mastered the art of relaxation. He’s currently thriving in a foster environment where he gets to coexist with other furry friends. Blue has his house manners down. Whether you're heading out for errands or it's just time to settle in for the night, Blue is happy to retreat to his "den" for some quiet time. He treats his crate like a private suite, and is an easy housemate. When it comes to his canine social life, Blue is a total rockstar with the manners of a true gentleman! If the other dogs get a bit too rowdy for his playstyle, Blue calmly walks away to find a quieter spot. He is exceptionally friendly with dogs of all sizes. Blue might appreciate a canine companion, so we recommend a low energy buddy or he also thrice as your one and only! Whether he’s meeting a towering neighbor or a pint sized pal, Blue’s gentle nature makes him a safe and steady friend for the whole pack! Great news for the feline friendly household: Blue passed his cat test with flying colors! He’s the ultimate companion, Blue prefers peaceful coexistence! He’s ready to share the snacks and the sunbeams, making him the perfect gentleman for your cat centric family dynamic! Because Blue likes to express himself with those classic Husky howls and barks once he feels at home, he is not a candidate for apartment living. He needs a house where he can sing his songs without worrying the neighbors! Blue is a gentle, easy going companion who just wants a soft place to land for his retirement years. He’s proof that the best things in life like a loyal, fluffy friend are worth the wait. Ready to make this fluffy gentleman yours? Story
Husky lovers, do we have a special treat for you! Ranger Roo is an all-around amazing, lovable, handsome, adventurous and smart boy. He's a total lover boy and the perfect mix of affectionate and fun. Ranger Roo sometimes even believes he's a lap dog and will try to sit in your lap for cuddles if you let him. There is so much to love about him and we haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet. Watch his video and see his personality: https://youtu.be/PsfDgcBfV98?si=OkrkWo0WCZU1u_YU Ranger Roo is believed to be a Husky mix approximately 4 years old and currently weighs 47 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Ranger is dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to. In true husky fashion, he is a vocal fella and plays exactly like a husky too. If you know, you know. He loves to romp around, play chase, engage in those rumble-and-tumble moments, and is all about having a great time. He’ll also make sure everyone knows he’s having fun because he’ll start talking and hit you with those classic woo-woo’s like he’s singing to an audience. It’s quite hilarious. As mentioned earlier, he shows all the typical husky tendencies. He will give a verbal correction if play gets a little too rough or if the energy becomes a bit too high for his liking. Overall, he is a vocal guy and would do best in a home with another dog that is comfortable with a talkative companion. He would also do great as an only dog. He doesn’t need another dog to feel comfortable or open up, he’s a natural lover boy all on his own. Ranger is a smart boy who is treat motivated and loves to please his people. He already knows how to sit and will even sit automatically sometimes without you asking. He walks well on a leash, only pulling occasionally out of excitement. It does not take much to correct him either, a simple leash correction is all it takes to remind him that he needs to walk like the gentle king he is. We can easily see him becoming a great hiking or adventure buddy, and there’s a good possibility he’s going to love snow too! Ranger does get riding in a car and can load up by himself easily. If you watched his video then you saw how much he loves car rides! He'll sing about them, talk about them, and he loves being able to stick his head out the window. This boy was born for adventures and anything with you! His fosters actually take him with them everywhere they go 80% of the time. He loves tagging along. Ranger has beautifully balanced energy and is great at matching whatever you need him to be. Want to go on a hike, light run, or neighborhood walk? Ranger will be your outdoorsy bestie. Want to relax and have a chill day? Ranger will find a cozy spot to lay down and be your cuddly king. He truly is the best of both worlds! He also has great house manners and is crate trained and potty trained. We believe he would do best in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment. We are willing to test Ranger Roo with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
