Meet Reba! She's got beauty, brains, and a whole lot of BACKTALK!
Reba is a gorgeous 2-year-old, 45-pound Husky with a heart of gold, a personality bigger than her fluff, and absolutely ZERO patience when it comes to treat distribution.
Got a treat in your hand? Wonderful. Hand it over.
Taking too long? EXCUSE ME, HUMAN. DID YOU FORGET SOMETHING?!
Yep, Reba comes equipped with that famous Husky sass, and she's not afraid to use it! But underneath all that attitude is one incredibly sweet girl who absolutely loves her people.
Reba is a fantastic walking buddy, does wonderfully on a leash, and is great with kids! She's also good with other dogs, although a meet and greet is required because even a diva needs to approve her roommates.
Now, let's discuss Reba's extracurricular activities.
Like many Huskies, Reba occasionally enjoys testing the limits of her freedom. And by that, we mean she's perfectly capable of deciding that the neighborhood needs a surprise visit from her fabulous self.
For that reason, she'll need a secure fenced yard, leash walks, or other proper containment. Husky experience is definitely a plus because this girl needs someone who understands that "come here" is sometimes treated as a suggestion by her breed.
🚫 Cats? Absolutely not.
🚫 Chickens? Also no. Reba has requested that we not discuss the poultry situation further.
What Reba DOES want is a family who will love her, take her on adventures, appreciate her running commentary, and keep those treats coming at an acceptable speed.
She's sweet, she's sassy, she's a little dramatic, and she's ready to become the CEO of your household.

If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.
