Story
Greetings, hoomans of the internet, I'm Pancho! I'm a bundle of energy and affection and I would love more than anything to have a forever home to call my very own. Please read my whole bio as I am looking for an experienced dog owner. I am picky about other dogs, but great with cats. And I need some time to warm up to new men. My foster human says that I am an amazing, one-of-a-kind, super-duper special dog, and when the right person takes a chance on me, they are going to fall in love and never let me go! I really am destined to be someone's heart dog. I've got skills! Potty trained? Check. Sit, Stay, Down, Shake, Roll-over? Double check. I'm also crate-trained, but I'm such a good boy that I free roam when the humans are away and I never get into any trouble. I can go 8-10 hours by myself without a problem. I'm still learning not to pull on the leash, but I've made great progress and with a patient hand, I'll be a pro in no time. But let's talk about what really makes me tick...snuggles and walks! I might be built like an athlete, but deep down I'm convinced I'm a lap dog and I'll curl up, sprawl out, and make myself right at home in your lap. And when I'm not cuddling up to you I love to be outside exploring. If you're an active individual who loves a good workout, we're a match made in heaven. Hikes, jogs, walks, - I'm up for it all. I love splashing around in the water and going for car rides which makes me the perfect adventure dog. I also came from a home with lots of cats and I would be happy to have some feline friends to keep me company in my furever home. There are a few things I'm not a big fan of. Men I don't know make me uneasy - especially when they approach my people. But as long as I have some time to get to know them and learn they're not a threat, I warm right up. My foster grampaw is one of my most favoritest humans ever! It took me a little time to figure out he was a cool dude, but now I love him so much and get the zoomies every time he visits. I also need a home without kids. I am picky about other dogs, and need a family who understands and respects my boundaries, and doesn't put me in unsafe situations. With a slow introduction I do well with submissive dogs, and I really, really love young puppies. I'm an amazing big brother to the foster puppies in the house - so patient and gentle, even when they're treating me like their own personal jungle gym. Being a loyal protector is in my DNA. My humans are my top priority, and when we're out, I'm like their personal bodyguard. Safety first! This means I would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants to go adventuring by themselves and feel safe while doing so. I'm looking for a human who knows the ropes - someone who is experienced with dogs and can take me on lots of wonderful adventures. If you're up for snuggles, walks, and a loving, goofy, and loyal companion who's always ready for action, I'm your pup! Experienced dog owner required. Story
Meet Harper, a one-year-old bundle of joy who is looking for her forever home! Harper is the sweetest girl who loves to give kisses to anyone who will let her, dogs and humans alike. She is super excited when you get home and will greet you with a wagging tail and a happy smile. Harper is a smart and playful girl who is learning basic commands and manners with the help of her foster sister. She is working on not stealing treats or food from other dogs, but she is very friendly and gets along well with other pups. She is also good with kids and enjoys cuddling on the couch with them. Harper is an active and adventurous girl who likes to run and jump like a deer. She loves car rides and knows how to use a doggy door. She is always curious and wants to be everywhere her person is. She is not friendly with cats, though, so she needs a home without any feline friends. Adoption fee is $300 plus tax Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jasmine is a pit bull/husky mix who was first surrendered to us in November 2020. She was adopted for almost 3 years and blossomed in her home, but was returned in November 2023 due to her adopter's declining health. Jasmine is now 5 to 6 years old, but is still perky and playful. She's also athletic and loves to romp, although her "zoomies" are not the most graceful thing to witness. Jasmine has been fully vetted and her fee is $150. Jasmine is a fairly large and strong girl with a big, block head (sorry sweetie, but it's true). She can be a bit of a talker, which is common with huskies and their mixes. She has received some basic training and learns quickly. Exercise is key to her happiness and she likes to swim and has even gone boating. Jasmine has done pretty well with male dogs and kids. Cats are most likely a no. Watch a TikTok video featuring Jasmine below!  https://www.tiktok.com/@happy.critter.ranch/video/7331808606507158830 NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Story
Meet Rand! This 3 year old Husky/Boxer mix is a gentle, calm and playful boy looking for his forever home. Rand is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He gets along great with other dogs, especially ones that will play with him. Rand would do best in a home with older children and a confident fur sibling to be his buddy would be a plus too. He doesn't seem to mind cats, but can get overly rambunctious in play and would do best in a home without them. Rand loves squeaky toys, going for walks, and relaxing by your side. He's not a fan of loud, chaotic environments. Rand bonds closely with his people and thrives when another dog is around for companionship and play time. He'll make a loyal, loving addition to an active family looking for an affectionate and laid-back pooch. Rand promises to be your new best friend! Apply to adopt Rand at www.tailsofhopewi.org!

Story
This sweet boy with the great smile is Moose. He is a one-year-old Lab/Huskie mix looking for his forever home. Moose was coincidentally brought into the shelter on his 1st birthday because his family didn't feel they could give him the time and attention he deserved anymore and they wanted better for him. Moose lived with children, cats, and other dogs in his previous home and did very well with them. He's a smart boy who knows several commands and we're told asks to go outside to potty by alerting at the door. Moose is a lover who likes to sleep at the foot of his owner's bed at night and would lay his head on his mom's shoulder during car rides. He enjoys ear rubs, bum scritches, and chasing tennis balls (although he's not much of a retriever). Moose loves a good bone to chew on, going for walks, and playing with toys-his favorite is a rubber pig.
