Greetings, hoomans of the internet, I'm Pancho! I'm a bundle of energy and affection and I would LOVE to have a forever home to call my very own. I've got skills! Potty trained? Check. Crate trained? Double-check. Basic commands? Nailed it.. My leash training is a work in progress, but with a patient hand, I'll get there. But let's talk about what really makes me tick...snuggles and walks! I might be built like an athlete, but deep down, I'm convinced I'm a lap dog and I'll curl up, sprawl out, and make myself right at home in your lap. And when I'm not cuddling up to you I love to be outside exploring. If you're an active individual who loves a good workout, we're a match made in heaven. Hikes, jogs, walks, - I'm up for it all. I also love water and car rides which makes me the perfect adventure dog. There are a few things I'm not a fan of. I was hurt by men in the past so they can make me a bit uneasy - especially when they approach my foster mom. But I think if I had a dad with a lot of patience and experience with dogs I would be okay. I also need a home without kids or cats, because I get so excited to make new friends that I forget how big and strong I am! I can get along with other dogs as long as they are friendly and submissive. Being a protector is in my DNA. My foster mom is my top priority, and when we're out, I'm like her personal bodyguard. Safety first! This means I would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants to go adventuring by themselves and feel safe while doing so! I'm looking for a human who knows the ropes - someone experienced who can handle my energy and quirks. Raven is a 6-year-old breeder release Pomski (Pomeranian/husky). She is a great combination of both. Very play, mischievous and funny but also so very sweet. She is very attentive of her foster mom and keeps an eye on her at all times. Raven is 23 lbs and overweight. She would love an active fun home with a fence and another dog in the home. She would be great with kids. She uses a doggie door to the fence backyard and has never had an accident. Raven oh Raven. She is a funny girl. She will you make you laugh daily. She loves to race around the back yard with her friends. She likes to steal items. She loves watching TV. She is not leash trained yet and freezes when you put one on her. We are working on it. The best home for her is with a fence and another social dog. She is social in that situation. And will actively greet any stranger with a wagging tail. She prefers coming to you if you are squatting or sitting rather than standing and going to her. She is so friendly and full of love. Meet Ellery! Ellery came to us after being found as a stray who was never claimed. We believe she was born in July of 2022. Ellery is a very sweet pup that is a bit jumpy about having her collar grabbed, or loud noises / fast movements. We believe she would do well with most ages and other dogs if properly introduced. Ellery is NOT cat friendly, and should not be around a cat at any time. She may need a refresher course on potty training when she is learning a new routine. Ellery is looking forward to having a home to call her very own! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only. Hi I’m the big boy of my pack, Storm! I have the best demeanor, I am laid back, sweet as can be, and also love to run around and play with my siblings! I take a minute to warm up to new people, I am the shy one, but that sure doesn’t mean once I do that I don’t have good confidence! I am the leader of my litter! Food and treats are life, I finish my meals in the blink of an eye! The kennel is my safe space and I am very comfortable in it over night, and while my foster mom works (just don’t forget my treat)! I have had my nails trimmed multiple times (they grow fast) and have had my first professional bath and blow dry (I was a little shy) but I did SO well! I am used to cats, big dogs, small dogs, and all people big or small! I may end up being large, but that’s just more of me to love! Please pick me to be by your side and share your home, I’ll love you forever! This pet is microchipped, spayed/neutered & up to date on vaccinations. The adoption fee is $500.
