Story
Meet me at PetSmart #2087 in Memphis, Tn. 5883 Poplar Ave Saturday, September 16th from 11am to 2pm! Pup Pup is a year and a half old, weighs 40 pounds, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, current on all his vaccines and preventatives. We’re thinking A Husky Mix? Maybe with some Border Collie? Pup Pup has a lot of puppy energy in him so he is very active. He has a lot of Husky traits so would be helpful for him to have a home with Husky experience. He does well on leash and absolutely loves car rides. He can be a bit mouthy so no small children. He plays good with the other younger dog in the foster home. He has learned to respect the old dog in the foster home. He is very food motivated and loves treats. Let’s help him find a home. Adoption fee is $150. If interested in giving this pet a home, please send us an email and we will send you an application to fill out. saveonepet@gmail.com Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home. Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention. For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification. When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshall County Humane Society is now  following CDC guidelines for Covid-19 in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.  We are showing dogs and cats to prospective adopters, but only on the grounds outside our shelter. We will need appointment to show the animal and we will want to have social distancing of 6' while you are there and we are wearing masks.  We are doing Zoom interviews to see inside of your home since we aren't going into homes for home visit. We do come to your home before finalizing adoption to check  the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog.  Our dogs are given much care and attention and we treat every medical need of animal once we take them in.  MCHS is a limited intake adoption center. We are an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $125 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $75.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. To fill out application, go to our website Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org, go to Adoption Info tab and click on Application. For more info, call 662-564-2900. The girls call me 'Ole Blue Eyes.' I'm an adult Husky who was left abandoned due to no fault of my own. I'm just a friendly guy about 5 years old. Jefferson is eagerly awaiting his forever family, who will appreciate his gentle nature, resilience, and unwavering loyalty. If you believe you can offer him the love, care, and commitment he deserves, we invite you to fill out an adoption application. Call 662-564-2900 or E-mail DogsNCats11@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet me. All our animals have been spayed or neutered and up to date on all preventives and shots and we are microchipped.  Dog adoption fee is $150.00.   Fill out application at Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org and go to Adoption Info Tab.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   October 1, 2023, 12:19 am

Story
Named for his constant grin and tail wags, Felix is a super sweet boy who looks just like a Dingo; he could have some husky in him. The vet thinks he is about 1 year old. He weighs 50 lbs. He is now neutered, vaccinated, and house trained, has learned his new name, and the word “No.” He responds to whistling and “come” with moderate consistency. He is very friendly to other dogs and humans of all ages. He does not give kisses, ever, but loves to get hugs, snuggles, and scritches. He LOVES to run and play. He has a lot of energy (and endurance!), but isn’t hyperactive. He does well on a leash when he is walked solo, but if other dogs are around he just tries to run to greet and play with them. He especially loves rough-and-tumble wrestling, chase, and tug. He is totally happy being at the bottom of the pecking order here at my house and tolerates being herded and bossed around by one of my dogs, Raza. Surprisingly, he is very tolerant of her putting him in his place! If he isn’t playing with one or more of the other pups, he likes to get pets, nap, and keep me company. He is heartworm positive and will be treated soon. His adoption fee is $200 After reading this pet's info, if you are still interested in adopting, please fill out the online adoption application found at realgooddogrescue.com The ideal home for this Real Good Dog will have a secure fenced yard.
