Call Me Foxy Roxy If my sweet personality does not captivate you, my eyes surely will. I am a husky mix, a super duper smart one. I get along with dogs who are friendly and have good manners, although I will admit I like being the leader. I had a home but I was not happy there and I escaped the yard every chance I got. My mom was very ill and she did not have time for me. So I went looking for another home. That’s how I ended up in rescue. I promise not to run away if you love me and pay attention to me, and give me treats when I am a good dog. I am crate trained and house trained. I am 6-7 years old and weigh 50 lbs. My fur has a gorgeous shimmer and don’t you just love my baby blues? The ideal home for Roxy would have Husky experience. If you would like to be considered for adoption, please complete the adoption questionnaire on our website www.heartsofgoldpitrescue.com.

Story
Sweet easy going girl. She was out in front of Fed Ex on Winchester rd fixing to get hit by a semi truck! She was rescued while I was on my way to trap another stray reported dog. Emaciated and with no hope she did not care that she was in the middle of traffic with her head down smelling for food in the road. I diverted traffic with my own car to save her life. Ushered her down a side street and lured her in my car with cheese. I took her with me to trap the other dog and git AC out to pick her up. I could not let her die in the shelter so she was pulled from the kill list. Baylee is a sweet calm dog who does well in play groups with other dogs. Sweet bully mix. Crate trained and knows tricks for treats.

Story
Hi, I’m Reese! I am an affectionate, super sweet girl, who loves to be by your side. Reese enjoys spending time outside in the backyard, and playing with stuffed toys. She’s great with cats, loves having other dogs to play with, and would be a great addition to a family open to adopting a dog with a disability. Reese has a neurological condition that affects her mobility, but she doesn’t let it stop her from participating in everything. She has a wheelchair she enjoys walking in for short periods, but prefers to get around without it. She can take a few steps on her own at a time, but spends most of her time laying down and hanging out. Reese can go to the bathroom independently, and will happily hold it until she goes outside to do it on the grass. She eats independently, drinks independently, and is a love to be around. She is on no medications and does not require extra regular vetting beyond a typical pup at this time. We are happy to chat more about her specific special needs with a prospective owner. We love to teach, and she’s an easygoing addition for a first time disabled dog owner!

Meet your new favorite weirdo! Luc is a quirky floof who marches to the beat of his own drum and will keep you smiling with his goofy personality. He may be a little reserved when meeting new people, but give him a little time and patience, and you'll discover a cuddly, affectionate best friend who loves to soak up attention. His absolute favorite thing? Other dogs! He thrives with canine companions and would love a home with a playful pup to share adventures (and naps) with. If you're looking for a lovable oddball with a heart of gold, he's your guy.
