Story
Dallas – The Last Husky StandingDallas came to the shelter with two siblings, and now he’s the only one left. He’s fully aware of this tragic plot twist and is ready to steal your heart so he never has to be the last one waiting again. When Dallas first comes out of his kennel, he can be a little stressed and wildly energetic — we call it his “Husky Launch Mode.” Give him about five minutes to shake it off and he transforms into a sweet, curious explorer who’s much calmer and ready to connect.Dallas loves to run, chase balls, and pounce on toys. He’ll even carry them around proudly on occasion, but don’t expect a fetch champion — returning the toy is simply not part of his personal philosophy. He’s picky with treats and far more interested in sniffing and investigating the world around him. Once he slows down, he hands out the gentlest little kisses. Before coming to the shelter, Dallas lived with a family who said he was crate trained and had some basic training, though he will need some leash work. He’s friendly with adults and kids, but cats make him suspicious and he tends to bark at them.Dallas was surrendered simply because his family had too many dogs and he just needs a home where he can be the star, burn off his husky energy, and finally stop being the last one waiting.

Meet Artemis 4-year-old Female Husky/German Shepherd Mix | Professional Fluff DistributorArtemis is a majestic, big fluff ball with the heart of a Velcro dog. Her ideal position? Right next to her people. If you stop walking, she’ll stop too—because why go anywhere without you? She’s not just beauty and fluff, either. Artemis is a smart cookie who already knows sit, down, and leave it, walks nicely on leash, and takes her job as “good girl” very seriously. She’s all about attention, pets, and admiration, and will happily soak them up like the star she is.Through the fence, Artemis says hello politely to other dogs and seems dog-friendly, proving she has both manners and social skills. Basically, she’s the kind of dog who looks like a wolf, behaves like a lady, and wants to be your shadow. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with brains, fluff, and a strong desire to be included in everything you do—Artemis is ready to choose you as her human.

Meet Luna – The Shy Dog Grad With a Big, Bright Heart! Luna is a gorgeous 2-year-old spayed Alaskan Husky mix—and yes, she really does have one blue eye and one brown eye! A proud graduate of the Shy Dog Program, Luna has blossomed into a sweet, energetic girl who loves to run, zoom, and soak up all the joy an open yard can offer. She’s playful with balls and toys (especially the chasing part!), and she’s happy to come trotting back when you call her name. This smart girl already knows sit, takes treats oh-so gently, and leans in close when she’s comfortable, soaking up affection from people she trusts. Luna appears dog-friendly through the fence, though we always recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure the right match for everyone. If you’re looking for a stunning, spirited companion who’s come a long way in her confidence journey, Luna is ready to shine by your side.
